Haha I must have copy/pasted the wrong page as I was reading both the PC and CNN.com simultaneously. I'll go ahead and save Wezas, Snapp, Tijay and the others and chalk it up to a "senior moment." Heh.
But read the link!

Paparazzi in general shouldn't have rights.

Great. More frivolous lawsuits. Emotional damage because Justin Timberlake yelled at you while his girlfriend kicked your ass? Why not sue for a fuckin' sack instead of money.
Seriously though, Cameron Diaz giving someone a scratch on the neck and Timberlake calling someone a pussy sounds like a comedy act to me. This is obviously just some pissed off photograpehrs trying to make a quick buck and more than likely they'll get a settlement and the "stars" will figure it was worth it to "kick someone's ass". Whatever. Personlly I wish it would go to trial and the judge would flip out, ninja-style, with some kick ass guitar music playing in the background and chop off all four of their heads.
PS We need a ninja smiley.

Can't say I'm surprised. Sometimes I wonder what I would do being stalked day in and day out. Who knows what affect that has on a person.
Do they in a way choose it by the path they chose? yes. But still, its hard.

I have no respect for people with paparazzi as their job. No way would I want to make my money by invading somone elses life. Anyway, that would have been great to watch happen though. I would have cheered Diaz on.

You know, I hate to say it...but that is part of the shit you deal with for being famous. You're constantly going to have people in your face wherever you go.
Trade off? Pretty much getting whatever whenever you want and however you want it.
Would I give up my personal privacy and the ability to walk down the street and not being mobbed for that sort of lifestyle? Probably not. I like the ability to roll out of bed and go to class looking like a hag without 1000 cameras in my face. Then again, I drive to school in something the size of a rollerskate, and not a hybrid Honda or whatever it is Diaz drives.

I agree with Jesae.
It's the price of being famous and getting millions and millions of dollars for doing stuff that's really not all that difficult.

I wouldn't say it isn't difficult. Acting has got to be a tedious pain in the ass. The thing is, these people that strive to become famous, KNOW what goes along with it, the loss of a private life.
THEN, they go and get famous, and then pull this shit.
Don't fucking strive for it if you don't like the whole package.

Thanks for posting that, Weedmage. I too would probably suffer "emotional distress" if a snarling Cameron Diaz ran after me.
And seriously, Jesae is right. They want people to be so enamored with them that they flock to see their movies - whatever the movie - but then they're pissed that they're SO famous that people will pay for a magazine with pictures of them in it. Please.

I'm sure it's all true. Especially the quote where Justin asks, "Why wont you fight, chickens?"
That sounds like an authentic piece of dialogue from a 20-something pop star. I'm not tryin to defend his rights against fame but merely pointing out that these two guys have to take pictures and sell them to tabloids for a living and realized Cameron and Justin would rather settle out of court for 50k than go to court and pay their lawyers. I think people who bring law suits like this and lose should have to foot both ends of the bill. We'd see a lot less of them in a hurry.
