Elemental Focus adds a base of +20 to bolt AS. Additional training in the Major Elemental spell circle increases the bolt AS bonus by +1 for every 2 major elemental spells known over 513, capped at ranks equalling a character's level.

Lore Benefit

Training in Elemental Lore, Fire will cumulatively add +1 AS for each seed 4 summation of ranks per consecutive bolt attack on the same target, capped at +25 total AS boost. The AS will increase whether or not the target is successfully hit, and only while casting bolt spells. Casting at another target removes this boost.
Casting non-bolt spells or general area spells (e.g. Elemental Wave (410) or Cone of Elements (518)) will not affect the focusing boost.

You know this spell can be cast on others now right? It used to cast it with a warding check due to the AS penalty, but since that's been removed it cast normally now.

I'm not sure what the duration is when cast on others though, so it might be short and I'm too lazy to go test it.

Yeah and it's bloody awesome. The mechanics are bit odd though, it's a flat 20 minutes for 13 mana and spell ranks doesn't extend the time but it's still stackable up to 4 hours 10 minutes however multi casting doesn't work with it and it can't be dropped via stop 513 to get rid of it.

Interesting, seems to last 15 seconds but is stackable.
