You remove a thin curly-textured brush from in your leather tool satchel.
>look at brush
As your eyes travel across the brush, faint tendrils of essence slither outward from it, and a mass of dark curled designs spiraling into a central vortex slowly forms before your eyes. In a heartbeat, it fades away.

You flip your brush idly around and decide to adorn the faces of people you ink from now on.

>flip my brush
You flip your brush idly around and decide to adorn the hands of people you ink from now on.

>open my jar
You unscrew the lid from your jar, and the dark henna within glistens slightly with reflected light.
>look in my jar
You carefully study the squat clay jar and come to the conclusion that you could use it about 30 more times before it's empty.
>close my jar
You screw the lid back onto your jar tightly.

Uh, has the GM who made these ever seen someone actually do henna art? (Hint: they don't use a brush.)

You do realize the game is played in a fantasy world and is not bound by the real world, right? - Nice job trying to de-rail and troll though.

These are from Inked Glory EG 2004.

Here's how the brushes work. It looks like the person needs to be in your group.

You step up to Arede and look him over carefully, deciding where the best place for a design might be.
(Type this line over again to decorate them.)
Roundtime: 20 secs.
>paint arede
...wait 3 seconds.
>paint arede
You step up to Arede, your brush in hand. The curly-textured brush begins to alight with faint tendrils of essence, and you let it move across Arede's skin as it draws out an exact, precise design. After a moment, the light fades, and the ink upon Arede's ankles glistens as it begins to dry.
>look at arede
You see Arede.
He appears to be an Erithian of the Surath Dai.
He is average height and appears to be very young. He has silver-flecked aquamarine eyes and milky white skin. He has balding, peppered amber hair. He is inked with a mass of dark curled designs spiraling into a central vortex upon his ankles.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a fang-clasped snakeskin pouch, a woven sack, a lightweight charcoal suede cloak interlaced with strands of spidersilk, a black spidersilk backpack reinforced with invar stitching, some polished full leather, a rose-inlaid ruby heart medallion, a leather sheath, a pair of fur-lined boots, some shaggy bearskin leggings, a round otter fur cap, and a rippled clay talisman.

From the paintee side:

Erstweal steps up and looks over you carefully while holding a thin curly-textured brush in hand, apparently deciding where he might place a design on your face.
(If you do not want a face-painting, type DISBAND or LEAVE now.)
>
Erstweal steps up to you and deftly makes several strokes with his brush, painting out a design upon your ankles in mere seconds.
