dispel a bless?

Can one use elemental dispel to remove a bless from a weapon?

I want to remove a voln bless, so as to make the weapon eligible to receive the paladin spell followed by a bless with holy water flares, by the way.

Spirit dispel should, don't think elemental or mental dispel will.

Also unsure if elemental dispel will do it but I know 119 does the trick.
