Almost four years to the day, it's time to sell another set of kroderine platemail. This was pulled while digging at EG this year. Might be the only T5 prize I ever hit digging in that god forsaken cemetery...

Seems to be standard kroderine, weight is the 72 lb range. Tough for me to test to see if it has added resistances or anything as I don't have anyone old enough at this point. Did prove it out at +22 enchant.

Might I ask, what benefits do the armor have over regular armor. I know the weapon version cant be targeted by spells and such

Its great armor for a Voln square. It has a relatively high chance to absorb any spell cast at you, but it drops your mana to 0.

Kroderine is great armor for a hard core square. Barring great TD on a set of armor, few things will protect you from spells better, and in fact, for non-CS based spells, kroderine will be superior. The only downside is that whole mana business.

worth pointing out that by the time you can wear the plate (level 80) COL signs last plenty long if you cast them then wear the plate before hunting.

Not likely. It's not magic friendly. Sometimes I think they over-restrict new fun things they come up with. The level 80 requirement for example, is a bit harsh.

Do you know if there is any special properties besides the dispel? A couple of the others I've seen had additional resists or other pieces added.

Not sure if there was or not as I didn't have anyone on my active account that could hold it. And the plate is sold so the point might be moot regardless.
