Lost Another Player Today- Bisco

For those of you who don't know, it looks as though Bisco (Eric Moore) died in a car accident today.

Confirmation is pending, but it looks to be true.

This was such a shock to hear - I just saw him out and about in the game not that long ago and his antics at EG always made me smile. I didn't know him personally, though he'll be missed.

While I cannot say I knew him well as either Bisco or Wariquan, I did know him by reputation. Everyone spoke well and kindly of him and he was always entertaining to watch IC. My condolences to those who knew him well, to his family and to the community as a whole. This is truly a loss.

The family has decided to hold a viewing service on Friday between 2-4pm at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapel @ 21100 W Griffin Rd - SW Ranches, FL. 33332. At 4pm, the Color Guard will present the American Flag to Eric's mother to honor his years of service to the US armed forces. Sunday following Shabbott, the family will have a gathering and Celebration of Eric's life at the family home in Miramar beginning at 1pm until... Rabbi Larry will say prayers at 2pm. Guests are welcome at both services, please message us for directions and address of the family home. We will also be setting up a fund for his (2) 12 year old daughters - information will be posted as we get it.

Such a fun person, a real joy. He'll be missed. We were talking about surfing and he mentioned that the surfing in Florida had been the best ever. I just came back from Hawaii a couple months ago, first time I had ever seen surfing up close. He's now riding the big waves in a better place.

Those of us who are in a privileged position to do so should do what we can for his daughters. I can't imagine there's anything else he'd want more.

As some of you may know, we lost another member of our community. The player of Bisco passed away this week. We are devastated to hear about this loss and have quickly built a memorial to honor everyone's favorite baker. I went ahead and touched up an area in Halcyon Hills, and GM Kenstrom built a statue fit for the giant. You can find it just east of the entrance to Halcyon Hills. I believe there will be a ceremony in game this weekend by members of our community.

Please remember, life is short and precious. My condolences to his friends and family.

I have been in contact with Dale, Eric's brother. I will be sending him a log of the in game memorial. They are not familiar with this part of Eric's life and are overwhelmed in a good way over the outpouring of love and support.

I know not everyone here can make it in game; if you have a memory of Eric or Bisco that you would like to share, please get it to me. I will compile them all and send them to the family with a log of the memorial sometime next week.

Bisco will truly be missed. I always enjoyed the talks we would have about surfing, the military, and life in general. Condolences to his family and everyone else who knew him. My heart especially breaks for his daughters, and will pray for them during this difficult time.
