Got an Iorake Claidhmore for sale. Ice age eonake, old style claid. Expertly weighted, still dishes out some damn nice hits.

You assess the claidhmore for structural weaknesses and strengths.

Careful examination indicates the iorake claidhmore has a base strength of 99 and a base durability of 305. You also determine the current integrity of the iorake claidhmore to be at 100.0%.

Checking out the claidhmore, it looks like it is less effective than a normal claidhmore, resulting in it being noticeably diminished in its ability to inflict critical wounds. You note that the claidhmore is still expertly weighted compared to normal weapons.

Awesome weapon, but I just don't play much anymore.

Looking for $255 or 30m silver flat.

Last Iorake Claidhmore I used had less than fantastic weighting. Is that the case with this one as well?

The claid has never been modified. Unless they were sold with less than standard weighting, then this one shouldn't be any different. I never bothered to run the numbers. My account isn't active at the moment, but can post some logs of it'll make the difference for someone.

All it takes is a warrior with a bunch of THW ranks and the ability to type ASSESS without passing out in the processes. It's not too hard to do.

It is when the account is inactive, and all he has is logs. . .

Before warriors could assess the exact value of weighting on items, everyone just assumed those Iorake Claidh's (as well as all of those claid weighted mattocks) had standard weighting, but around the same time that warriors could actually assess the exact value, it was also stated that most Sancted Claidh's came with a negative modifier to weighting. Unfortunately on the day of those releases, I was able to assess my friends Iorake Claidh, and it did indeed have 30 points of weighting. Needless to say, he was pissed.

I think he'll recoup the $15.

Also, with a lot of these old claidhmores, weight actually corresponds with the weighting on the claid. Back in the day, when you'd get a claidhmore lightened, they'd take off some of the weighting. For example, my old 5lbish 5x krodera claidhmore ended up with 35 pts of weighting because it had been lightened a few times.

Have an offer of $420, with some interest from a couple of other people. Should be able to reopen the account tonight and have it assessed.

So, it is less than normal. Still a pretty damn sweet weapon.
