My broken watch is right twice a day too. They earned no respect with me since the Giants basically self destructed.

You obviously didn't watch the game. The Giants didn't self-destruct, they were dominated on defense. 5 TAKEaways (not giveaways), 7 sacks, 1/15 on third downs, and stopped them on a consecutive 3rd and short and 4th and short. And the only time the Giants scored touchdowns are when they started inside the Bears 40.

Monsters of the Midway are back. :flamed:

I did watch the game.. but being that I am not a Chicago fan.. I saw it a different way.

I saw a Barber TD called back for a holding penalty.. only to have Warner fumble the ball and give it away 3 plays later.

I saw Hillard fumble deep in Giant territory and then the Giant's defense getting 2 penalties which allowed Chicago another easy touchdown.

I saw Warner throw an interception and then Chicago being unable to gain 1 yard.. but close enough to kick a field goal.

I saw Warner throw another interception on the Giant's next possession. Chicago was able to gain 33 yards on 1 play and then -1 on the next 3 plays.. and kick another easy FG.

I Saw Anthony Thomas being able to bust one run for a TD.

Granted.. not the best performance for the Giants.. but to think Chicago manhandled the Giants is simply untrue. The Giants gave the game away by not being able to hold onto the ball. Penalties also killed them and allowed Chicago to score.

Hey Bonar, you think you could pick a team for the Chiefs/Saints game? :)

Snapp does not count as a pick! He picked the bears because the team name is an animal..... Just as he picked the Dolphins because "Dolphins are cute."

Latrinsorm

You want to hear something funny? Snapp's picks are more accurate than Sergey's, Tijay's, and Wezas'.

Damn right! That's cuz Delaware is hardcore like that.

And Dolphins are cute. Why aren't they on the list this time?

Latrinsorm
11-12-2004, 12:19 PM
Dolphins have a bye week, along with the Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers. Each team plays 16 games and there are 17 weeks of regular season play, so each team gets a week off.

Scott
11-12-2004, 12:22 PM

Not so much. I don't go by records either. I think of which team I like more.

And that's also the reason why I pick the Redskins every week and pick against Dallas every week.

So does Snapp. Either case, I think that is alluding to you suck with picks.

I won week 7 and lost week 8. Other then that I've always been somewhere in the middle.

There's no money on it - so hell if I'm gonna do any research.

Bratt pwned this week with a record of 12-1 (the only loss being the Redskins game)

Noone else is within range to win

10-3 Alarke
9-4 Snapp (WTF, Uniform Colors), Kimberlyn
8-5 Latrin, Ardwen, Tijay, BBB
7-6 Wezas (w00t), TOK, Gemstone 101, Stunseed
6-7 Peam, PB (you were right), Tater
And the loser this week:

5-8 Keller.

No matter who wins on Monday, the winner/loser will not change.

::edited to point to the fact that Latrin was beat this week by Snapp, who picks the teams because of their colors::

::edited again because I was pwned by math::

So much for the high after the Bears win, Urlacher will now be out 4 - 6 weeks. He needs leg surgery. :scared:

Alarke

Yeah, Urlacher being out will hurt big time... luckily our defense has stepped it up big time the last few weeks. Hopefully we can bring it up without him.
