About what level should I put wizard circle on hold for minor elemental?
eh... hmmm I dunno. once you hit about 35-40 wizard ranks you should be set for a bit, just don't forget about it. But your thinking so long term right now. It will start to fit later down the road.

well it's a good thing to have 425 and 430 by level 30 right?
I'm just not sure how I should aim for his spells. Any training system I do now is for pure power leveling..It'll all be changed once I hit about level 80 :)
the sooner you get 425-430 the better. Heh if your thinking level 80 you got plenty of room to mix in those wizard ranks. If your level 40 something with about 30 wizard ranks you shoudl be lookin pretty tall for 5X enchants.
just for somethin to think about at 70 meos has these spells ranks
Your spell lists:
Minor Elemental...60
Major Elemental...62
Wizard Base.......46
I've done 2 6x enchants so far. I think 7X would be a little outa me league though.

I know a level 52 Wizard that does 7x enchants fine.

Heh, sorry, I must not be convaying my point across well.
I don't care about enchanting untill level 80ish. Till I reach that point, my training is set for power leveling only..so ease of hunting.
Once I reach 80, I'll use a fixskills to switch to enchanting mode, at which point this wizard will be basicly retired from hunting.
So untill that time, I'm aiming for the best AS/DS I can get. Hince, wondering when I should switch from 900's to 400's. :)

Depends on what type of Wizard you wish to be. Always keep your Minor Elemental at level until about 74 since 425 maxes at level. 513 is you main AS boosting spell other than 425. It adds +20, +1 every 2 ranks of 500s, capped at caster's level. The Wizard circle has the big DS booster, 913.
Personally, at 40 ranks of Wizard I put it on hold for a while and put everything into my 500s and 400s, just to be able to bolt big and have a nice CS, which is an effective way to hunt the Rift if you have Lore training. I was killing aivrens and n'ecares with one cast of 415, no sweat. Also remember that Wizard ranks affect your success with 930.
For safely enchanting up to 7x, it's commonly believed you need a minimum of 50/100/50, Wizard ranks, MIU, Elemental MC respectively. You can do a 7x with lower, but this is a good outline for minimum chances of failure.
At 89, with 425 capped and only 88 ranks of MjE(still migrating), with a 27 Dex bonus, my bolting AS is 449 self-cast with just signs up. Though I can get it upwards around 650 presently.
For reference, here's my wizard so far, my Wizard ranks are higher than they will be and am waiting on 10 ranks of MajorE.

Hrm..your giving mixed opinions though ;)
Should I be training in 900's and 400's at start then? You said to keep 400's at level..If I'm doing 500's and 900's till 40, the 400's are way behind :P

How about this...
Get Wizard and 400's till 25, put any tripled ranks into 500s until then. Once you hit 425 and 925, since your not looking to enchant for a good long while, switch over to 500s/400s...and continue to put any tripled rank into 500s for 513.
You wont get much from 913 in this case, but if you set up a macro right you shouldn't ever bet caught in anything but guarded anyways, plus you'll get DS through 507, 503, and 430.

I would get 430 at least. 5 spells for the DS/TD is nice.

Hrm, this leads me to wonder..which is going to grant me a better AS/DS.
A high powered 913 and 513?
Or a not so well trained 913 and 513 + 425 and 430

Or you could triple each train, and get 1 rank in each. As long as you're over 8x in magical ranks your DS should be fine. Right now I'm 12.5x in magical ranks, once I make the switch to being tripled all the way, it'll drop down to 9x per train, though the DS will be offset by a bigger bonus for 913.

Get 430 for the +15 to DS/TD. 5 extra spells for the +15 TD is well worth it.
You won't have any problems with your AS overhunting. You get +1 to your AS/CS for every 2 spells over 425 anyway, so you aren't sacraficing anything. If I remember correctly, 513 caps at your level anyway, and you will catch up with it anyway.
Get 430, it would be stupid not to.

I have to agree. 513 does in fact cap at level, and after 20/25 or so, Wizards can uphunt like crazy regardless. Personally, DS is more important than AS for Wizards just because they uphunt so well, and not getting hit=less chance of dieing=more efficient hunting.
A Wizard/MnE combo with added MjE ranks, to me, is the best route to go for highest AS/DS, especially since your Wizard in 12.

So can a level 30 wizard. The wizard just needs to put pretty much every spell in the wizard circle.

I made my wizard mad simple.
15 ranks swim/climb
20 ranks of health.
1x MIU, Arcane, HP, EMC,
2x Spell Aim
3x Spells

If I drop my EMC, Symbols, and MIU down to 1x, I can push 1 spell circle up to 9 ranks.
So it'd give me 12/9/12 that I could set up in any spell circles..
think it'd be worth it?
12 wiz, 12 minor, 9 major?

I say yes, if you aren't enchanting at all 1x MIU is all you need. 1x EMC is plenty, and 1x Arcane is standard.
