Permanent EG Shovel

I've had some interest in the permanent EG shovel and I have an offer on it. I was advised to put it up for auction here to see if there in any other interest.

Problem is, this only works at Feywrought Mire, and this is the last year EG will be at this venue. Unless something has changed.

I bring this up only because I won a raffle for an unbreakable shovel last year, and was told in no uncertain terms that it would only be good at the Mire location, and that this year would be the last time EG was at the Mire for the foreseeable future.

I've never read or heard that though suspect the location may change in next few years (per average cycles on the venues). It is definitely there next year, per Wyrom's posts about the Necropolis.

Except what you're saying contradicts what Wyrom has said, which is that the Necropolis will be back next year. Which means EG will be the same.

The essence aren't attuned, but you must be the owner of the heart to use them. So the person you hand the essence to will need to be at EG.

The hearts after this year are done mechanically. But 2016 is the last year they will be offered. Which means there is only a 1 year catch up. The essence were made to help people who missed a year. But again, in my shortsightedness, I forgot about people with 2 hearts. There are definitely not that many essence though, so could someone benefit from the essence with 2 hearts? Sure. But not many. Essence won't be offered after this year.

In 2016, a maxed out heart will be needed to do the last thing. It's not really a combat/magic advantage though. And I won't be sharing details.

Yes, because I have such a long history of derailing threads with false information. It's kinda my thing.

If you would like to check the last few pages of the EG thread on the officials, you'll find posts from Wyrom stating exactly what I did...1)the shovels are only good in Feywrot Mire and 2) the venue will be changing soon, most likely the next year or two.

I'm not going to apologize for educating potential buyers.

Last year I won a raffle for a permanent digging shovel near the end of EG...I was informed by Wyrom that the shovels given away at EG were only for Feywrot Mire and would not work at future EGs in other locations. I was also told that this year (2015) would be the last year for EG at Feywrot Mire. Working off of this information, I sold my digging shovel. From the posts about the Necropolis, I'm assuming EG will be at the Mire again in 2016?

I find it hard to believe that someone would buy a shovel if you told them that EG was gone the following year and they couldn't use it. Unless you gave it away.

I said that this year would most likely be the last year they could use it, because GMs told me the venue would be changing shortly. I knew it would be usable THIS YEAR, since I sold it LAST YEAR, and I did indeed take a reduced price because of that.
