I will ask that to my gf.
Anyone can help "her" (me) about em?
What's the difference, in reality, between the 4-20-40 gigs beside the side of the "hd"?
I want the best one, if the quality is the same, and all the extras are the same beside the hd, I won't pay 650 bucks for a 40 gigs.

There's no difference other than the size of the hard drive. Not sure where you're getting the iPods but I've only heard of the 40 GB being about $400. There are mini iPods, as well as a special U2 edition.

We're using canadian money here, baby.
It's 20% more.
Still, 40 gig at 400, that'S 500.. not that bad.

You do realize that the average MP3 is about 4mb?
A 4gb Ipod Mini ($250) will hold about 1,000 songs.
A 40gb Ipod ($400) will hold about 10,000 songs.
Do you even have 1,000 songs (let alone 10,000)?

No, I don't even have 1000 songs.
I'm speaking of quality and extras.
If the 4 is the SAME damn one as the 40 BESIDE the hd, then I won't even think about it and buy a 4 gigs.
IF the 40 has the extras to takes photos, recorder bla bla bla, I will take the best.

If you want photos, you'd need to get iPod Photo, which is completely different.

I keep the music that I listen. I erase the music that I would skip or that is annoying because it was burned. Therefore I have maximum 1 gig.
And according to a seller, the only difference is the battery (8 hours vs 12) and the hd.
Fuck it, going to buy the 4 hd and some stuff.
Thanks!

I'm buying an ipod on my way home from work tonight, so I don't have to listen to my boss talk the whole way to Delaware and back.

I would go with the 20.
The 4 will eventually be full, the 40 is overkill. If you're really concerned about size then go ahead and get the 4 and just delete the shit you don't listen to. If you're not concerned about size then the 20 is what you definately should go with. You'll never have 20 gbs of music and listen to every song.

Okay, I know I'm going to get socked for asking, but why are you so persistant about not being Canadian when you clearly live in Canada? I don't understand that.

Lol. delete something. You'll still have it on your CPU, just not on the iPod. Be honest with yourself, it's just annoying to scroll through all the shit you don't listen to.
