I'm curious how prevalent disarming creatures are between levels 40-100 and how nice it would be to have a returner? Deciding whether I want to invest in something that returns or not.

It really depends on where you want to, or plan to, hunt... the gswiki page on cm disarm ( https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Disarm_Weapon) has a list of creatures that use that specific cm, but there's other things out there can disarm via other systems (like the hardened skin on hisskras, who are low 30's).

Not a whole lot prevalent.

Shan warriors, skeletal lords, warrior shades, minotaur warriors, ithzir jannisary, spectral triton defenders, triton combatants.

Consider creatures who disarm by other methods, like 915/715. Returners are expensive, the usual course of action is to ensure you have a backup weapon on you.

Thanks for the feedback, seems more like returners are nice but not necessarily necessary.

theres a script on the repo called ;disarm-no-more that can help with that, its not 100% but it definitely help.

Definitely carry a backup, especially if you have a nice weapon.

All weapons can be lost/stolen. Eblade ftw! Flashy weapons are nice and all, but you can be geared like a homeless person in GS and win.

Wall guardians need to be added to that list.

The last time I took a like-level character to Wall Guardians I got surprisingly fucked up. Their weapons are pretty mean.

Yeah they can be dangerous. Just had one disarm my katana and I shouted you're not supposed to be able to do that! Had to log in my sorcerer and run down there to save the day.

Not all weapons.

Glove Bow and Sonic weapons.. they certainly can't. Coraesine... if you get disarmed then dead right after, otherwise, no.

Always the exception, blah blah blah. Sonic weapons aren't actually weapons in the conventional sense, though. Glove bows came well after I stopped, so I'm not familiar with them.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but stuff that curses can be a pain too. Makes you drop crap and itch. I've lost weapons and shields while running back from a hunt cause the itch stays awhile.
