Hi all,

So I'm reading some contradictory info in GSwiki regarding lores and 410 and 435 on flying creatures.

The Elemental lore review page ( https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Elemental_lore_review_(saved_posts)#Elemental_Wave _.28410.29_and_Major_Elemental_Wave_.28435.29 ) states:

"Hi everybody!
Getting some Air & Water love into today's shipping extravaganza with both 410 and 435! Knock those stupid flying things out of the sky and just flat out make your E-Waves stronger! Yay! Okay, seriously, I'm excited but how long can I keep this going? What do you think?!
MECHANICS
At 50 ranks of Elemental Lore, Air these spells are now transformed into a spherical wave which can affect flying targets. In addition, the target's maneuver defense against these spells is now reduced at a linear progression based on Elemental Lore, Water skill."
~ Konacon

But on the spell info page (https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Elemental_Wave_(410) ) states:

50 ranks of Elemental Lore, Air will turn every cast of Major Elemental Wave into a spherical wave that can affect flying targets, but will not knock them out of the air.

So which is it? Anyone test?

Yeah that is kind of weird. I'm guessing that it can knock them down so they are prone but they are still considered flying. So they're....prone while flying...?

They will be hit with RT and/or damage, but will not be knocked down. This is GM confirmed not to be a bug.

not all posts get saved, some just get added to the article, especially when the GM keeps having to post to clarify things because their initial post lacked any detail.

Sucks for the post-cap rogue who gets enough lore to airburst a griffin, only to give them RT and freeze them in the air where they can't be attacked for another X seconds.

They should learn to HURL! But yeah, I agree it sucks. Was pretty stoked about that update when it first released. Still, being able to put flying creatures in RT with a maneuver-based spell is pretty nice.

should make it knock them to the ground, but in an adjacent room. I mean you're sending a wave out, that's just basic vector analysis.
