With the inactive account promotion earlier this summer, and EG coming up, it seems like a lot of old accounts are being dusted off. Most likely gone forever, but I figured I'd try again to sniff out this weapon.

I think it started when HSN started, and it was good through July 31. Accounts inactive for at least six months could prepay three months and get three additional months free, regular or Premium.

Haha, it wouldn't get me anywhere though. Items have dynamic IDs. The item more or less doesn't exist until the character logs in.

gskhaladon: its really not a DB, its a lot of stuff, but not that, your shit is stored in a tagfile and thats about it, its not searchable by GMs, i guess onsite could do something if they were desperate, log in every char, but wouldnt help, or rewrite the oracle db to see if it was ever registered for a clue

It's true he may not be able to search a DB but maybe he has general information about it. He is a player too, after all.

I owned it briefly (bought from original Edaarin in like 2003), but was a broke college student at the time and sold it back shortly after.

I know it's a short sword. Just saying this is probably your best option at this point.

No idea if they ever released krodera slabs, but if so, just have someone forge you a perfect short sword and have it altered.

unfortunately krodera hasn't been released. The rarest to my knowledge is veil iron.
