Aiming a weapon from the open is different compared to open aiming with UAC. Put a warrior, a rogue, and a monk in a grimswarm camp by themselves. I bet you the monk clears the camp before both of the other classes.
The only purpose armor would serve monks is for the CvA to protect against spells. And I've always been a pretty staunch defender of monks, nothing new there. As for not being objective I disagree. I've put a lot if time into monk combat and have tried all sorts of builds. Are they perfect? Of course not. Do they need some more tweaks? Absolutely. Do I think it's absurd when people jump on "monks suck!" bandwagon? Goddamn right I do. .

One of the ornamental sculptures that had adorned the roof lies broken in half on the ground. Concentric circles of broken floor tiles indicate the immense force with which the statue fell. Broken statuary has been imbedded in the walls and floor, wrenched from the small alcoves that housed them and flung about by some great force. Intermingled between torsos, arms, and legs are remnants of the muraled ceiling and roof that once towered overhead. A slender iron rack with a bright green patina has been twisted into a ghost of its former self. You also see a spectral triton defender.
