I am looking for cman numbers to use with Spell[].active
I cannot find the number for duck and weave (cman weave)
I looked throught the spell-list in the data folder and it is not there
I wrote this:
counter=1
loop do
if Spell[counter].active?
echo "_________________#{counter}"
end
counter +=1
end
and ran it without my weave active and again with it active. I got all my other spells but no weave
do cman have numbers? Any ideas?

cmans have ids, like...no one has duck and weave because it's kinda crap (and only available to rogues, who would be a niche use case, and monks...who ARE a niche) so there's a chance it's not in the spell-list.xml.
Check spell-list.xml, it has everything in there, if it's not you'd need to send tillmen the new xml attribute for it or at least send him the start/wear off messaging.
edit: just checked, not in the xml

thanks. Duck and Weave RULES btw.
You balance your posture and narrow your eyes, preparing to misdirect your foes' attacks. <----start
You relax your posture and blink to clear your eyes. <---------end
Your recent exploits of weaving through your foes' attacks no longer strains your body and mind. <------ end of recovery period
(Just in case Tillmen is lurking)

i've used it and disagree :D
Kinda nice, i tried the mongoose + duck and weave combo on my monk. I can't justify the points over other things, but it was kinda fun.

I use duck and weave with my halfling monk. He is over encumbered wearing just pants. I am not good at gemstone.

The only problem with that sentence is the pants.
Pants are never a good choice.
