**UPDATE 8/8/17**
I'm making my departure from the game. I haven't added any updates since the last update on 6/27. If someone wishes to take over and watch changes and make updates to this elemental lore spreadsheet, please feel free. Best of luck to everyone on their adventures in and out of the game.

**UPDATE** 6/27/17
Added 925 to show mana earned per 30 pulse from EL:W
Adjusted 411 to function correctly by showing max enchant you can eblade based on your ATTUNED element
Adjusted 917 - I don't remember what I did to this (made the correction a few months back and never wrote down what was actually fixed)
Corrected some wording/spelling in a few spots (cosmetic)

Corrected issue with crit padding points not adding correctly for cell G88 for Mage Armor

Added:
950 - Core Tap - I went through and figured out the intervals for EL:A on this spell, it should bring up a very close to accurate chance to CHANNEL a spell with any EL:A ranks entered. I did not do the same with EL:W or EL:F, too time consuming to figure it all out and put it into the spreadsheet. Just the shown thresholds on the gswiki are shown here for EL:W and EL:F (may get around to fixing EL:W & EL:F for this spell, just not anytime soon)
550 - Time Stop

I decided to not be lazy and made updates to the spreadsheet. I was holding out for changes to Enchanting, but they don't see to be coming RSN.

515 - Rapid fire's cooldown and EL:F & EL:W bonuses have been added
520 - Mage Armor (replaced old Stone Skin)

Updated:
413 - fixed incorrect data showing for the "Persistent TD Push Down from EL:F"

I added spell 513 - Elemental Focus to the chart to show the new AS boost benefit to casting bolts against the same target.

Corrected 512 (Ice Patch) ability to turn 903 bolts into 1709 (Minor Cold) due to information update. Number of bolts changed to minor cold are based on SEED 10 Summation and not previously thought SEED 9.

I've added % Chance to apply burn for minor acid (904)
I added a 414/419 benefit to the Earth Lore Benefit worksheet - this was previously missing on the worksheet
I also corrected a couple of minor spelling mistakes.



I've compiled all (hopefully) spells that benefit from the Elemental Lores and created a spreadsheet that'll run all the calculations for you. I did fix a few issues from my last update (typos, incorrect lore calculations under a couple spells).

The sheet is pretty easy to follow. The first worksheet will calculate the benefits based on the ranks you enter for each element.
Spell 502, you need to choose what element you're attuned to if you wish to see the DS push down associated with your available lore ranks.
Spell 514, enter your current level (top of worksheet 1) **The results are based off Level, Lore ranks and personal experience using the spell. It should give you a good idea of your chances to SLAP/CLENCH/POUND targets**
Spell 520, enter your MjE Spell ranks (top of worksheet 1)
Spell 519, in the 3rd column of benefits for it, you can enter in your end-roll and it will show you the reduced chance (if roll is under 150) for an instant kill chance based on your fire lore.
Spell 912, call wind doesn't seem to follow the summation chart so the benefit on it is estimated and should provide a very close return result compared to how it works in game.
Spell 413, enter your Elemental Mana Control ranks (top of worksheet 1)

Clearly 506 (Haste) is subject to change and current changes to 519 (Immolation) have not been implemented yet, but you can still see what kind of return results you get from lores.
I have not added 925 since it's still under construction.

The second worksheet will automatically update the adjusted DF for any bolt spells, based off your lore ranks.

The last worksheet is simply a copy of the summation chart you can find on the gswiki - it's just there for reference.

I've added 4 other worksheets, they provide just the benefits of each individual lore. You still input your lore ranks/level/EM:C/MjE Spell ranks in worksheet 1, all the calculations will carry over to the individual lore worksheets.

The excel file works fine in 2010 or newer. I know some equations/functions do not work in 2003. I'm not sure about Excel 2007, but hopefully it shouldn't cause any issues. You can convert it to a Google Sheet and it should work without issues, but I have not done this.

If anyone sees any issues, please let me know. Also, if I missed any spells, list them off for me so I can get them added on.

On a last note; The worksheets are protected, but not by password. If by some chance you want to change things around or wish to see the equations used, feel free to unlock the worksheets.

No problem, I've been using your spreadsheet a lot to plan my Wizard characters after the changes and I think that a lot of people would be able to get some use from it. Overall, I think that it communicates the information very well and the only way I can think of to improve it is to perhaps have an option to "hide" the spells which are not being improved from lore training, similar to the hide unused skills option in Tsoran's trainer. Again, great work on the spreadsheet!

Slow down there. I'm a novice in excel compared to what I've seen people do with it. I can certainly make "magic" (so to speak) happen in excel, but I'm learning things on the fly. I may add worksheets that focus on a single particular lore (one for Earth, Air, ect) and only show the spells that make use of said lore. I wanted a good, easy way to see what lores gave you what benefits. I'd love to make something as spectacular as Tsoran's trainer, but I don't see that happening anytime soon based off my current experience.

I appreciate the suggestion and I'll certainly look into it - but that'll be an after thought once I get the missed spells included. Then again, anyone that's really skilled with excel, they're more than welcome to always make changes/adjustments to improve upon the worksheet.

Right now I'm struggling with Stone Fist. Clearly, you gain beneficial use from the spell if you train in EL:E, but there's no set equation that's been given to us on our end on how EL:E actually plays a role. From what folks have gathered, you need to be roughly (this is coming from memory years back after the spell was released) .75x in EL:E to get SLAP to work on like leveled, you need to be around 1.25x in EL:E for CLENCH to work on like level and you need to be around 1.75x for POUND to work on like level. I'm trying to figure out a good way to setup an equation to show the "possible" results. I swear I got close to it at one point this past evening, but once I started adjust all numbers involved, my results came back in ways I didn't expect. I need to simplify the equation somehow.....anyway, I digress.

If anyone has suggestions, such as yours, please do let me know and I'll work them in as best as I can.

Auto-hide/show requires VBA to implement

I know a lot of people are used to VB due to Tsoran's trainer, but, VBA was not natively installed with Excel 2013, and I've had to support a lot of people getting VBA enabled... hell, I even have a post somewhere about it.

Honestly, swapping over an xlsx to an xlsm causes more problems than it's worth this day in age.

It seems to be missing the following spells:

413, 503, 514, 520

I've added in the above spells listed. 413 works off of EM:C (elemental mana control).

At the top of the first worksheet, I've dropped the jump to links for spells and added a few more placed to input data to help show benefits for certain spells:
Spell 520 - requires MjE Spell Ranks to help calculate some info
Spell 514 - You need to input your character level to give you an idea if you can use SLAP/CLENCH/POUND **this is based off personal experience**
Spell 413 - You need to enter your EMC ranks to see the added benefit for the spell

I had to move some information around, but I do believe everything is working as it should be.

I'll see about maybe making extra work sheets that just show specific benefits tied to each individual lore. Also, if there are any other spells you'd like to see added on, please let me know.

Updated file to reflect the change to 512 (ice patch) - it works off seed 10 and not seed 9 - for allowing minor water casts to be changed to minor cold. The info was also corrected on gswiki already.

With my departure from the game, if someone wishes to take it upon themselves to keep this up to date....please feel free. Or do with it as you wish (improve upon it, redo it, whatever works).

I'm not sure how much updating it will need, but I guess it all depends on the direction (if any) the devs take things.
