I realize his training plan is not the best. Got him from someone else, don't want to keep him so thought someone might want to buy him.

A stat reallocation is just as good (better really) than a fixskill, since you can reallocate all your skills instantly if you reallocate your stats.

No shit? That's good to know...no migration times at all?

Wow, I always thought that after you reallocated stats and then changed training that it would still leave you with migration times. I'm not 100% since whenever I was tweaking stats I already had my training in place.

This is false. Your skills are essentially truncuated and your skill goals wiped out when you reallocate your stats. I just did it last week. That character cannot change thier skills without lengthy migration times or another fixskills.

So wait.... if you use goals and change your skills all around, then go into the inn and do a stat reallo you basically get a fixskills out of the deal? Sweet I still have 4 stat reallos to go.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Truncated means cut short, and a few other obscure definitions. the skills are cut short how? If I reallocate and don't have a fixskills then what?

It means that if any migrating skills are at a decimal, like 15.98, the decimal will be dropped and the rank will be set to 15. You do NOT get a free fixskills when you reallocate your stats. Your goals are merely dropped, and your skills are truncuated to their current level.

Your skills also drop a whole rank when you level up, so if you are migrating a lot of points it's best to time your level up to when your skills have not migrated much. like the 15.98 example. They will immediatly drop to 15.

Hope that makes sense.

I guess there is an off chance I'm remembering incorrectly, but I've already used a stat reallocation to change my skills.

I did everything in the Inn, though. I believe I picked a stat reallocation, reallocated stats, and then I was directed automatically to the skill manager. The changes I made appeared to happen instantaneously.

Anyone have a younger character they can test this with?
