View Full Version : Gem Hoarding/Sorting Scripts

I'd like to start saving gems for bounties. Can anyone give me suggestions, if anything exists, for scripts that will help me do this? It looks like you can tell sloot to stockpile gems. Does it recognize what gems are typically used for bounties, keeps them, and then sells the rest? Also, on Sloot, what is the "Locker" space used for in the Bounties section of the Selling tab?
Are there scripts that will sort your gems into gem jars for you or is that something you have to do manually?
Any help is much appreciated.

There are a couple scripts on the repo... I use jargem.lic, it's not perfect, but it works for me. Will take gems from a container, rummage through another container for a jar containing the gem and add to the jar. There are others, gemhoarder, etc. I don't use sloot, so I can't help you there.

I use loot-be-gone primarily because of the stockpile functionality.

So looks like loot be gone requires me to upgrade my lich, and therefore also my ruby. Can someone confirm best practices for doing this? I remember trying to upgrade 6 months ago and it was a disaster and I downgraded back to lich 1.4.
Should I uninstall my current versions of ruby and lich before I download the latest versions? Any other steps I should take to help ensure success this time?
