Outage?

Anyone else having an issue where any account you attempt to log into says 'Billing issue' with the www.play.net site simply offline? Did someone in St. Louis get mad and take it all down over a stapler? I wasn't aware of any scheduled outage.

Page plain does not load for me, nor can I log in.

yeah play.net is currently down for me and the game servers are unresponsive (was getting 503 error on the website, but now getting 500 error)

I'm having the same trouble logging into one account, but my character who's already in game is still connected just fine.

yeah. same here. I was trying to log a secondary account on and it didn't work. I rebooted thinking it was an issue with my computer and lich. Now I can't get on with both.

Bah. Of course my computer messed up and I had to reboot, so I logged out of the game - now can't get back in. Le sigh. Hope they're aware of it and can get it fixed ASAP.

Wonder if they attempted to hook up the new servers they said they purchased? Though would be kind of dumb to do that so close to the Duskruin auction and without specifically scheduling some outage.

Note that they posted this on their Facebook page:
"As you can tell, something has failed. Not sure exactly what. Billing or a Firewall is the best guess so far. Myke is heading to the colo to look at the
server's there. So far no word on a time frame.

No one can log in, but if you are in game stay there, you should be fine."

play.net and billing seem to be having issues again. SGE rejects my account status and the play.net servers are giving 500 errors.

This is like an every other day occurrence. They need to prioritize those new servers.
