Noobish enhancive queries

Hey,

I am a bit new to enhancives and have a few noob questions which either aren't answered in the wiki or alternatively are answered somewhere I can't find...

1) How do you switch stats for a box found enhancive (i.e. it has +5 blunt weapon bonus + 5 edged weapon bonus and you want to make it +10 edged weapon bonus)? Is this only available at merchant events? If so do these merchant events occur regularly and do you need to be a premium subscriber to attend?

2) When you buy an enhancive to make an orb, what is the process for turning it into an orb?

3) For leg greaves etc, if the enchant is +5 and you are already wearing 5x armor with leg coverage, will you now effectively be wearing 3x armor (1x+5x)/2?

4) There seems to be loads of enhancives for sale recently, is this because of duskruin?

5) Can you turn a crumbly enhancive into a persistent one?

Sylinar's Spire is the most commonly held event to get swapping done. The swapping rules are very specific. It does not occur regularly. You do not need to be premium, it is a separate ticket cost.

No, armor accessories provide no actual DS and do not penalize the DS provided by the chest worn armor.

Yes

5) Can you turn a crumbly enhancive into a persistent one?

Yes, this is usually done at pay events and should be offered at Ebon Gate in October. Fusion orbs are also persistent.
