Ithzir unlocking?

Can anyone tell me what/who to keep an eye out for ithzir unlocking? Is there a specific merchant's name that does armor unlocking? Help appreciated. Ithzir armor POTENTIALLY really cool, but seems like a waste to not be able to at least try to get it unlocked. I just can't find anyone ever doing that.

Pretty sure the GM who owns the script is no longer on staff. I'd suggest posting on the officials in the EG folder to see if someone has taken up the mantle on it.

Thanks guys. I'll keep an eye out at Ebon Gate. And I posted on the officials. Such a shame it has 16 unlockable tiers, but hard to find ithzir armor that's been unlocked even twice. They really should consider allowing premium points for unlocking stuff and cap it or something.

I heard at one of the EGs folks were getting stuff that was like 5 tiers unlocked from the gate. It really pissed me off because I have added 3 separate wins as tiers on Ithzir armor. Not sure anyone will confirm. But anyway, I have a set i've used 3 ithzir spots on and it's t2 support (my 8x crazy brig)

You analyze your thick pyrothag brigandine and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
This brigandine offers a chance to interrupt an attack when you are stunned, webbed, rooted, immobilized, unconscious, or prone.
This is Base armor, and will fire up to 5 times per day to move you in a random direction. It has special messaging for WEAR, REMOVE, and CLEAN.
It can be altered freely, within normal armor altering guidelines. Because some of the messaging refers to buckles and straps, nothing that completely conflicts with that concept should be done.

This brigandine is at unlock level 2.

That happened once, on a fishhook. The possible selections were varied (I believe upgrade forging +1 level, so probably to perfect, forged weapon enchant, and/or Ithzir "tree" unlock). A nice selection to choose from, but obviously a multi-unlock of a tree is a clear winner, if you have or want Ithzir.

Premium point unlocking would be nice but that would open up a large can of worms with other combat script unlocking and how to appraise and price their varied abilities. I do hope to see it, but it won't be cheap at all, especially for something like Ithzir with its now many various mechanical abilities.

Anyway, the brief response to someone's question about having it at EG was "No:. I assume it may be offline until a new script owner has a look at it and clears up some issues. It could still happen but I think probably not.

What is T2 support? Options are escape, status condition, healing, and charges trees.

Unlocking Ithzir and Voln armor confers huge mechanical benefits, it is not the same as getting a cloak unlocked for extra verb messaging. A single session of it per year, some raffle prizes, or some premade items is right about where we want it for availability. Simply because a script has tiers that can be unlocked does not mean that the unlocking will be offered. We've got tons of scripts like this that only have auction or raffle quality tiers. Ithzir armor definitely qualifies as auction quality past a few unlockings, so the number of those that will go out in a given period of time is very, very low.

In addition, it is only possible to unlock 9 out of the 16 possible upgrades on a set of Ithzir armor. This is intentional and it forces users to choose their benefits as either a specialization in 1 or 2 trees or a broad base of abilities.

It was not requested for Ebon Gate this year, though I'll get it on the list for next year.
