Thick grass underfoot provides an enticingly peaceful resting spot. A thin silk canopy is rolled back to permit an unobstructed view of the starry night sky. You also see a white owl that is flying around, a wooden arrow, a large faenor-chased barrel and a richly finished wooden bench with some stuff on it.

You find yourself wandering amidst endless streaming light and vast nothingness. This place feels torn between two powers, polar opposites vying for your loyalty. You are surrounded by the spirits of those who could not choose. The only way out seems to be through light or darkness.

Time has no meaning as you wander aimlessly amidst the uncomfortable tugging for your attention. Hopelessness washes over dreams you once held like the creeping tide of doom.

After what could be moments, or perhaps an eternity, the goddess Lorminstra finds you wandering in the endless space and speaks soothingly to you. She gently reassembles the pieces of your tattered soul and then, taking you by the hand, the goddess leads you back to mortality...

[Hall of Patrons, Rotunda]
Eight arches supported by gold-veined marble columns encircle this large rotunda. A forged chandelier hangs suspended from the lofty, domed ceiling, illuminating the room. Six pedestals form a small circle beneath the chandelier, in the center of the rotunda.

With great ease, the Guard Captain grabs you and shackles your wrists.

"I have you now! You best come along quietly, or you'll face the consequences," says the Guard Captain.
The Guard Captain then drags you off.


Arriving at the Hall of Justice, the Guard Captain gestures to a nearby guardsman who strips you of your possessions and tosses them into a box. The Guard Captain then drags you over to a metal grate that he quickly opens and throws you through. "Enjoy your stay until the judge is ready to talk to you!" he snickers softly.

With a dull thud the grate drops back into place, leaving you trapped.
[Hall of Justice, Oubliette]
Silence. Loneliness. Despair. Here you are lost, with no clear idea of when you will be found. The oubliette is a round, featureless room, with no visible entryway or exit, save for a tiny grating some thirty or more feet above you. Water drips down steadily from the metal grate, causing a faint rhythmic tapping noise to penetrate the ever present silence.

You hear the metallic rattle and the grate suddenly pops open. A nimble elf lowers himself into the oubliette on a rope, and ties the end of the rope tightly about your middle, sneering as you gasp for breath.

As the guardsman tugs the rope, you find find yourself hauled up and out of the oubliette, and thrown into the courtroom to face the judge!

[Hall of Justice, Courtroom]
Rows of benches occupy most of the stately courtroom. High above, the silver-edged sapphire banner of House Illistim hangs from the wooden rafters. On the far wall, you see a large oaken desk occupied by the Court Justice. Guardsmen flank either side of the desk, glaring out into the crowd as if their stares could pacify them. Here, all come to be judged. You also see some double doors.

The judge studies you carefully, then motions toward a nearby guardsman who fiercely proclaims, "Dazmar stands accused of the following crimes..."

The guardsman says, "Dazmar is charged with 9 counts of murder. Dazmar is charged with 1 count of endangering public safety. These 10 crimes carry a total fine of 26294000 silvers."

The judge glances at you and declares, "I really need to get paid more for sitting around and dealing with people like you. But, I digress. You may think you're innocent but trust me, you're not. Guilty as charged!"

He continues, "I've decided that I'm not going to let you serve community service, so don't get your hopes up. To this aim, you may either pay the fine of 26294000 silvers plus any other outstanding debts you may owe, or serve a total of 240 minutes of incarceration. You may ANSWER me either FINE or INCARCERATION as your choice. But I digress. Choose quickly, now, lest I hold you in contempt of court for wasting my time."

Suddenly, a pair of lawmen come striding in. They wrestle you to the ground and drag you off, muttering something about the stocks!

I've done it.... I use TYPO with PSInet to change it to 425 if I happen to type 525.

That really sucks, man, for all involved. now hecto w/ill have a rep. :( that sucks a lot. Accidents do happen though.

I could have gotten another spell up... but thanks so much for the offer. I do not know many in Illistim. My characters hang in Solhaven mostly.

spellup auto wont help, i was just refreshing 425/430/520 as i do each time before i go out hunting, except i didnt get to go out hunting that time

My ex made that same mistake...unfortunately in the Cul De Sac

Killed about 15 people, anyone who was there and a few that fogged in to rescue.

He paid the fine and tried his best to give 10k to anyone he killed. Mind you, this was before the fines were outrageous and there were no community service options. :duh:

Before they made the changes to incant, I used to shatter myself alot. I'd be typing ahead of the feedback from the game and have shatter prepped.. For some reason or another it wouldn't go off when I typed cast and then I'd try to do something like incant 140.
Nasty when you try to throw up walls and end up dead.
