Wyrom said he was working on a W7 recap, on Monday I think... his excuse was that he was at SimuCon, and was just getting back home (valid excuse, but still).

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Taernath again.

Am I the only one that noticed that both things for Pelts were on different days? Why?

What's with all these new materials? Do people really give a shit about them?

Yup. More fodder for the custom outfit crowd.

Some of them are alright, but they should have a raison d'être. I've never looked at the materials list and thought, 'Wow, I'd really like another material with no special properties.' Why should my next dildo be made out of ur-barath?

Staff is composed of former players, so that being said some will want to bring to the game what interests them. Hence, new materials.

I know. I'm in agreement with Taernath, though. Seems like there should be some reason for the materials and at the end of the day, I've never really felt like we needed some new type of cloth or wood just for the sake of having different materials. They got a little carried away with some item nouns at one point, leaving people to look up things to figure out what the hell they were looking at. I see the same thing happening with these new materials, assuming random items will eventually start popping up with them and it makes me wonder what the real gain is.

For the RP and barbies.

don't get me wrong, I like the new materials. I just wish that we got 1 material, 1 historical document, 1 verb update, and one roll play change each week. After all the love sorcs got, my expectations for mechanical changes that will affect me are unrealistically high at this point.

It's worldbuilding. Giving each culture a little more depth. And it's not like they pulled people off of fixing Monks to make plumile. Different GMs have different roles.

I think the issue some people have is that world building or not, it isn't doing much good when there aren't many people in the so called "world" to begin with.
They'd much rather see fundamental/mechanical changes that would bring new people to the world, than changes that are made only to those still in it that some may care less about and are waiting for other things.
Me personally, I love when new RP sort of changes come around, granted it's better when profession changes come too but still.
The only thing I think is entirely retarded are the fucking images that get posted as HSN for the deities. I mean really? This is what you release for your largest promo event basically?

Well we need images of the deities in a text based game.

I would have prefered images of each in-game city, but I know people like their portraits.

That would have been really cool. Not maps but paintings/drawings/images of each city, like you'd find in an RPG supplement.

My imagination is terrible, so I like all the pictures, and would welcome more like the city drawings mentioned above.
