1) What is your favourite town in the game, and why?

Icemule. Small enough that there's not a ton of idiots, and big enough that it's not super boring all the time.

2) Who is your favourite person to be around, and why?

Me. I rock.

3) What quest is your favourite, and why?

Don't have one. It'd probably be the Ice Mage one, because it's got lots of potential...but I guess the GMs have forgotten about that one.

4) And what is your favourite hunting area in the game, and why?

Spider Temple. It's just a cool area.

Ta'Illistim, it's got alot of good hunting, and not alot of people. When an idiot shows up he/she normally gets run out of town.

2) Who is your favourite person to be around, and why?

Celember. He and I have been hunting and hanging out together since we were both 12 trainings, we can react without talking so it's cool and we always have a blast.

3) What quest is your favourite, and why?

I've never been activly involved with a quest but I did like the Banalathra(sp) invasions I was 15 and all I did was hide in the warehouse and spell people up with 401,503,406,509,414 it was good times. Everytime I went outside I got blasted :cool:

4) And what is your favourite hunting area in the game, and why?

I liked Darkstone, I always felt like any wrong move was death there heh. I also loved Anwyn castle as a wizard you can fly so fast through arch wights. Just hunt using minor acid and rest in the bower til full of mana and repeat, fastest lvl'ing of my life(and the only time I ever bolted to hunt)

If you actually take time to stop and read the descriptions of Illistim it's really impressive.

Especially at night...with the moonlight and everything. Creates a really cool picture and ambiance. Has an almost tolkien-like 'elven city' feel to it.

Yeah, Illistim is the best city.

Probably because every medieval game, sword-and-shield game, etc is strictly based on Lord of the Rings.

Pretty much every peice of fantastical fiction, be it game or book is based in some degree or another on Tolkien's work.

He invented the orc.

The elf as they are percieved in Gemstone--tall, beautiful, fair-skinned immortals.

Dwarves, mithril...countless other things are all rooted in Tolkien's works.

Landing. Everything else is cliquey.

A better question would have been, "Who if your least favourite person to be around, and why?"

The Bregandian invasion because Devestior's wyvern was the shit.

Pinefar. I like the environment, risk, etc.

1) I love Rivers Rest. The people there are just great. Its the only town I've ever been in that did not wait for the GM's to throw a party..they made one up and went with it.

2) Well, I loved being around Zharya when I first started playing..She was completely random..anything could happen. Now, I love being around Mazelina of course..she makes my time in GS seem less...laborish..

3) Hrm..I've only ever been involved in one quest, so I can't really answer that fully.

4) Well, my most loved place in the game is not a hunting area..I love the Shore of Dreams..that place is designed VERY well. As for a hunting area..I don't think I really have a hunting area I like..Hunting has always been something I do because I want new spells..not something I do because I like it.

1. Landing because it's the only fun, active city.

2. Klaive's woman. Why? Duh! :smilegrin:

3. Erm... I guess Black Swan, cause that's the only GS Quest I think I ever went on.

4. Bonespear Tower. It's great hunting and is brilliantly described. I adore its history. Shadow Valley woulda beat it, but it's such a pain in the ass to get to.
