View Full Version : Need help figuring out why my wizard is acting funny?

I noticed that for a couple characters I have created recently, there's a discrepancy between the mind display and what it says when I type exp. I've uploaded a pic showing it. The display always shows 1 notch fuller than what exp says. This does not happen when I play my older characters on the same computer. My boyfriend says it is doing the same thing on his computer as well with low level chars.

Any idea what's up? It wouldn't make sense that the problem is with the wizard or it would do it for all my characters. It's very annoying and if I at least understood it, it might make it more bearable. I hope.

And no, I will not use the Storm Front.

Strange, mine is normal.

Well I already go the explanation I wanted. Apparently I'm stuck with it like that... forever.

Its some GS4 bug. Its goofy while you're young, but after you hit ~20 it seems to even itself out.

yeah...I experienced the same thing with my little rogue, but my older girls are fine.

No it doesn't, it depends on the characters(most likely the character's stats). It may even itself out, it may not. It may even go in reverse.

I have a 41 trained character who's experience meter always shows one level lower than what it should be. And two higher trained characters (80-90) and an 8 trained character who's experience meter always shows one level higher that it really is.

getting guild experience while you have the gift of lumnis on will fuck up the mind counter vs. EXP.

Two of my characters have this, both show one level above what they actually have, it's very annoying. One the characters is 26 so it's not an under 20 thing.

Stunseed's meter is off, and no one else's.

I use the meter as an indicator to check the exp well on my characters manually.

Its nice to see red, but I'd rather see "You're mind can't take much more of this! You must rest!" or something to that degree. Then I push a little more before heading in to regroup.

On my sorcie it's fine (a gs3 convert) but on my bard it's a bit messed up yes

Use stormfront.

Type 'resync', that may work.
