Started up a Voln rogue, how much hiding should I have in order to not have much trouble hiding in front of undead stuff. Is 3x overkill or can I get by on 2 - 2.5x? I don't plan on picking so just looking to make him a really effective hunter. Thanks all.

I can't speak from personal experience but I think most rogues find 2x and shadow mastery/dirt kick to be sufficient.

2x in the scatter with shadow mastery in brig isn't enough. With 215 ranks I still have issues hiding in front of Siphons about 90 percent of the time. Destroyers aren't very perceptive so they only catch me once in a blue moon.

I think 2x would be sufficient for now, if it's a brand new rogue. You'll be needing TPs for other skills for a while.

cool, 2x definitely frees up some points. I forgot about dirtkick, I'll have to add that down the road to supplement against anything really perceptive.

2x is enough for low-mid level undead hunting. There's always alternatives at the lower levels that you can hide from with 2x and the ones that will see you aren't really hunted by rogues anyways (most of them are non-corp).
