Hey there! I'm quite new here (and hopefully posting this in the right place), but have been active on Flight Rising for over two years, and I'm hoping to trade some of my FR riches for silvers, so that I can purchase some rare FR familiars from another player (http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/ibaz/1379444). I'm seeking up to 100m silvers total, but I will do my best to keep this post updated with how many I am still looking to buy.
My rates are as follows:
550 treasure : 1 gem
1,000 silvers : 1 gem
1,000,000 silvers : 1000 gems
I am happy to buy silvers with treasure or gems, just let me know what you would prefer. I am also very willing to pay higher to anyone selling in bulk!
I realize offsite trading/trading currency in general can seem a risky venture; please check out these threads as vouchers for my trustworthiness. (Or potentially message FR user Onyx, as I bought Kickstarter codes from them using currency from their site, Khimeros, and did so entirely through trading gems, treasure, and items for Khimeros trinkets and beads.)

You are going to have a hard time trying to find a player on these forums that plays Flight Rising I think. Your best bet would be to use cash, if you can find a reputable silver seller.

Also... you should probably post in that thread for the Flight Rising trade, and send a message to the person sending you here, that this website is NSFW in some areas. IE Kids should not be directed here.

Need to show us your tits to prove you're real. It's just how things work around here.

LOL, I was just PMing the person to tell them to watch out for the other members here, who can be quite rude.
Just a word of caution, members. If this poster is indeed a truthful person, a non-troll if you will. I looked up the other game.. And it seems like it is for young children.

Thread: Buying 100m with Flight Rising currency
I really hope they don't send kids or prudish women to this website hoping for a warm welcome from other gamers... -AestheticDeath
If they know anything about GS, they would already know better.

You never asked to see mine
Show me your tits. Unless you're a dude, in which case, show them to AestheticDeath.

I'm confused by the Flight Rising thread. It's highly unlikely anyone else plays both Gemstone and Flight Rising and apparently people sell Flight Rising currency/items for real life money too? Why doesn't that person just sell his stuff for real money and buy Gemstone silver? :/
Or...maybe that other game allows trades for other game currency but not for real life currency? :/
I'm so confused. Someone hold me and rock me to sleep.
Wish I could help you, MissAri, but I don't play Flight Rising. I'll be happy to sell you silvers for real money though :p

Obviously it is a ploy to advertise this browser game.

Seems like you probably ought to talk directly to this other player, because I doubt many people play it here.

It's the old Flight Rising/Gemstone Shuffle.

MissAri, my humble advice is to abandon thread

Would you trade your runestaff for Flight Rising currency?

depends if I can use it to buy a Ronan alter in Flight Rising
MissAri, can you inquire with Flight Rising GameMasters / QC staff about the possibility of involving Ronan in the game's plot twists? if so you can consider the 100m sold
The teller thumbs through the books and says, "Your balance is currently at 100016791 silvers. May I do anything else for you today?"

Kind of curious about this Flight Rising game now. I don't want to be creepy if it is for kids though.

I don't think the game is geared towards kids. I mean I'm sure kids play it, but then again kids play GS :p

Based on my cursory review of their forums, the game looks like it has 20% more realistic dragon flight mechanics compared to Dragons of Elanthia.

There doesn't seem much overlap in userbases, that's for sure! Unfortunately, the FR TOS doesn't allow selling currency or items for real life money, but trading for stuff from other sites is fine. A bit convoluted, but since it's actually how I managed to get some pretty nifty items in the past, I figured I'd give this a shot. God, do I hate forums though. :|
Edit: Also for those wondering, the majority of the players on the site are between 18 and 30 years old. Most of the people I've talked to are college age, although there's a community of younger teens as well.

Except the Flight Rising game won't even let you make an account to play. I didn't spend too much time trying to figure it out, but either they wanna make you think it is popular, or are just trying to keep it exclusive? Unless the whole thing is free or something - didn't even get far enough to see if they charge for anything.
But yeah apparently their servers are overloaded easily or something. Buy some more eh?

Out of curiosity I googled it,
"Flight Rising is a browser-based game based around breeding, battling, and raising a clan of customized dragons. The site does not currently have full-time open registration due to the servers being unable to handle large loads, but registration windows are opened every few months to give new players a chance to join while the site is being worked on. The next window does not have a set date as of yet."

I don't wanna sound like an ass and I'm by no means an expert, but how can the servers of a browser based game get overwhelmed so easily? Is the server someone's 486 running in their closet or something?
I used to play a browser based game that was literally designed and ran by one person and there were hundreds of people playing it at once and there was never a problem.

Dragons cost a lot of megabytes.

I honestly don't know. It seems like everyone and their mom have a goddamn site these days.

I wish I could help explain, but I'm no expert on the site's servers either. There's currently just over 2000 people online, although I'm not sure how many people are signed up total, or how any of that affects the server load. I could probably go into a bit more detail but, you know. Trying not to confirm the suspicions that this is all somehow a bizarre advertisement campaign. Just figured FR might have a large enough playerbase that there would be a handful of people who are active here as well, that's pretty much it.

Gonna bump this up because I'm still in the market for silvers and might as well mention that FR registration is open today.
