I'll entertain cash offers on 10k premium points. Not an account takeover. PM me.

I have a bow that'll use about half... if someone wants to go halfsies with me. That's not cash, but I can likely convert to cash.

Whirlin, since you're a math whiz, how much PP for 8x-9x with mcw?

8500

Blanks should be somewhere between (assuming Wiki #s are right):

8-9x enchant: 3200 +
MCW (20-24 points)*100: 2000-2400

For a total of: 5200 to 5600PPs.

Depending if they use the low cost or the high cost for the weighting.

8500

Whoa.. What did I miss with my math? I was no where close to 8500.

mcw is more like +16-+21

Oh.. I just went with what it said on Wiki. I'm still trying to figure out if my math is all jacked, because I'm no where near the 8500 estimate PK had. Though I probably missed something.

I used the formula on play.net, using 20 for the amount of weighting.

The formulas don't reconcile... One has weighting/sighting at *200 cost, the other does not... Honestly, it's best to reach out to him, and have him perform a Pcalc to determine the PP cost of the item...

the formula on Krakiipedia is pretty accurate. Barring combat scripts, it should be 3200 for the enchant, plus around 2000 for the weighting: 5200 +/- 400. And the various CCF's made it very clear that the weighting/padding scale on Krakiipedia is off in quite a few spots, so no guarantees on the ranges posted there.

I'll be happy to PCALC when I can, I'm tied up with a wedding through the end of this week. I should be available early next week.

My MCP armor calcs at 5,700 for a 9x, including a 500 point resistance surcharge, so I'm going with 5,200. I think padding and weighting work the same. Final answer. Variation for anything off 20 points weighting as Kerl points out above. 10% discount is not included in PCALC so you'll pay a little less.

When does the 10% end? I'd be willing to shuffle my schedule around if it ends soon.

Thats where you went wrong. Play.net is pretty outdated, you should use the prices from gswiki, especially since they were updated very recently.

Did you use a fusion formula or something? cause you are way off.

It likely is 5200 points, as the MCW is likely +20. Certainly +20 if it was weighted at a festival rather then found that way or gotten in an auction.

Really not sure how you got an extra 3300 surcharge in there tho... I mean.. fuck.. that is one hell of a math error.

Also.. don't forget the current discount. So say 500 off that price... so 4700 until the end of HSN.

In fact, with the whole block, during this sale, you could squeeze two enchants in. 4700 for the first (I am ignoring the 20 point discount because you can't do anything with 80 points currently) 5100 for the second. 9800 total.

Per the (apparently wrong) formula listed on Play.net - ((2 x Padding/Weighting level) + (Final Enchant Bonus))*100

Maybe he added an inflated surcharge? Those are in style now.

those have been out of date for a long time. use the Wiki formulas, they're Jainna-approved

There was a time I would have said BS - if play.net says something, then it's right. That was before the users on this board educated me.

Why do you think they wanted the Wiki? it's something staff can update.

The next obvious question is why the staff couldn't update play.net, but never mind...
