Fana mistblades are pretty cool and dark. Zested, ambient zests, can temporarily change your features too. This was sold at Duskruin for 1000 bloodscrip. One was released a few years back in the EG games and the info from then was posted here: https://gswiki.play.net/mediawiki/index.php/Fana_weapons

a golvern basilard with an obsidian-inlaid hilt

under 1lb
5x
infused with a disintegrating substance

You analyze your golvern basilard and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:
You carefully analyze your golvern basilard and sense that there are some alteration restrictions. Your basilard must be some kind of BLADED weapon. (No runestaves or bows, etc.) SHOWS are fine to add but bear in mind the misty and shadowy nature of the weapon, evident in messaging. Original concept by Fana.

This item is fully unlocked.

You can turn the ambient messaging ON/OFF by PRODding your weapon.

You can tell that the basilard is as light as it can get.

Zests:
>stow basilard
As you prepare to drop your golvern basilard, jet black tendrils begin to snake and coil around the basilard's hilt, slithering upward. Mere seconds before they twine around your wrist, you release your grip on the basilard and the tendrils retreat.
>get basilard
You reach for the golvern basilard and it nearly springs into your hand, like the return of a long-lost friend. The basilard's hilt melds perfectly into your palm.
>rub basilard
You rub your fingertip along the edge of the golvern basilard's blade, slicing through a few layers of skin. A large drop of blood drips onto the metal and bubbles as it turns to a dark mass. A crimson mist appears within the gooey substance and begins to flow over the blade's edge, dispersing into the air.
>wave basilard
You wave your golvern basilard in a sweeping arc through the air, a thick viscous mist rolling off the blade and churning in its wake. You abruptly sweep the weapon back through the turbulent darkness, causing the mist to scatter without a trace.
>clench basilard
You grit your teeth together as you clench the golvern basilard tightly, and a sinuous thread of mist begins to wrap and twine itself between your fingers, nearly cutting off your circulation! As you relax your hand, the mist begins to dissipate, and sinks into the blade with a lingering *hisssssss*.

>prod basilard
You prod the golvern basilard's blade with your fingertip three times. It now appears slightly more dull.
>prod basilard
You prod the golvern basilard's blade with your fingertip three times. It now appears slightly more lustrous.

Ambients:
As if searching for your hand, shadowy strands of black mist slither upward along the edge of the basilard's blade.

The golvern basilard begins to shake violently of its own accord! For a moment, the basilard feels as if something is going to burst from the hilt, but it stops suddenly. A tingling sensation remains in your hand.

Black tendrils begin to writhe and coil up the basilard, continuing up your arm and around your neck. Nearly strangling you, the ominous fibers sink into your flesh, and you feel a sharp pain along the side of your face. (feature changing)

Mist-like tendrils slither across the basilard's blade, stretching like fingers toward the weapon's hilt.

The skin on your face tightens, leaving a strange burning sensation in your cheeks. (ends the feature change)

A dark, charcoal-hued mist forms along the length of the golvern basilard's blade. Swirling purposefully, the mass forms a skull-like shape with black chambers for eyes that seem to stare back at you. The shape dematerializes as quickly as it formed.

Features (just what I've seen so far):
Inky black threads slither just beneath the surface of his skin, shifting his flesh with disturbing, coiling movements.
His face appears quite peaked, and his skin is streaked with an array of raised veins that seem to pulse with a slow, steady rhythm.

Also, if the winner would like a second one, for TWC, we can make a deal for that, also.

jeebus, this thread is almost a year old. I do, actually, still have both, but they've been altered into tantos. I was going to use them on a new alt, but then ended up relegating him to a pack mule status once bored.

a folded ebon silk vatanura knotted at the hip - A folded ebon silk vatanura knotted at the hip, made in classic erithi style, is masterfully folded to reveal a repeating pattern in the fine silk. The vatanura winds securely around two scabbards that are designed to rest off the left hip. The first, a vultite-inlaid faewood scabbard, is set slightly forward and lower than the second, a carved faewood scabbard. Both are angled for a quick draw in combat.

a razor-sharp golvern tanto - Pure golvern has been folded countless times, the metal treated and dyed, producing a matte black blade with a subtle wave pattern across it. An ebon raw silk has been complicatedly folded and wrapped to form a sure grip on the hilt, ending just above a black-cored despanal carved into an eye. Etched into the base of the blade is simple, but elegant, calligraphy.
There appears to be something written on it.
>read tanto
In the Common language, it reads:
Aishan's Gaze

a black-bladed golvern tanto - Pure golvern has been folded countless times, the metal treated and dyed, producing a matte black blade with a subtle wave pattern across it. The hilt is carved from a single piece of aged ivory, tapering into a point as though formed from a single large tooth. Etched into the base of the blade is simple, but elegant, calligraphy.

In the Common language, it reads:
Aishan's Bite

Does the fact that they are on a mule now mean they're available? Because those are gorgeous. And I'd be willing to open the bidding at 5m for the pair.
