I am low level, but am an open archer and have enrolled in GoS. I am currently working on obtaining 404 and then if I have extra points and am considering sprinkling in MOC for the obvious fact that I am an open archer and given the swarming capabilities of GoS tasks that it could be useful. Now MOC is 10/3 and won't help my archery, should this be a consideration I still want to take in (probably will only be able to train in it once every 3 levels) or should this be a post cap consideration given the lack of consistent training?

Every little bit of MOC helps with Force on Force, but to ignore extra enemies, you need, 10, 25, 45, 70, +25 ranks of MOC to do this. It'll take you 30 levels to ignore one enemy. I think extra ranks of CM (for maneuver defense and wspec), more dodge DS, or ambush AS (doesn't help when young) would be better, but maybe you are doing this already.

As an open archer and in GoS: I had 25 ranks at cap and felt it was worth it. Whether your doing Grims or bandits and the like, FoF plays a huge roll and defense is always nice to have. Tailor that your plan to fit your hunting style.
