I don't know how trendy you are, but I'm pretty sure they have baby naming handbooks with their respectful origins and meanings out for sale.. somewhere..?
Also Don is a good name. Like, "The Don."
They have a plethora of baby naming guides free of charge on the internet as well.
A few Others...
Alex, Derek, Bernard, Gary, Rubin, Miguel, Hideki, Kenny, Jason, Jorge, Mariano or Mo.

Go with Adan Richard Green instead. That way, if he wants to use Richard/Rick/Dick/Richie, it is still an option. That way, the "Your name is DICK!" jokes will only come out if he makes that choice.
However, with a name like "Rich Green," how could he not wind up a billionaire and/or kids' show host?

Another place to find middle names is to look into the surnames of your ancestors. It used to be very common to use family surnames as middle names, but has fallen out of favor in these times.

Names are so personal.
My daughter is Allynn (pronounced Alan like male name). My husband wanted all kinds of girlie names, I wanted gender neutral names... Madison, McKenzie, Seaan (shawn, in traditional Irish spelling), Jordan, Morrigan, etc. Allyn is what we agreed upon given the gaelic and Irish acsestry to it (I'm Irish, he's half). In my weak state after 36 hours of labor he asked to add an N on for Allynn versus Allyn while he was filling out the forms... whatever, 36 hours of labor and breastfeeding, exhausted, I didn't care. I still regret it. He thought Allynn versus Allyn would feminize it. Whatever. Anyway. Names are so personal. My daughter's name is in Gaelic/Irish history. Means noble, fair, beautiful, bright, harmony, ... or in male, handsome. Depends on which Celic or Irish path you follow. She sums them all up.
