You feel the magic of your spell rush away from you.

You trace a simple rune while intoning the mystical phrase for Elemental Strike...
Your spell is ready.
You gesture at a raving lunatic.

Warding failed!
You blast a raving lunatic for 27 points of damage.
... 35 points of damage!
Flames incinerate left leg to the bone. Not a pleasant sight.
It is knocked to the ground!
The raving lunatic is stunned!
[Spell re-prepared]
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.
>inc 415
...wait 2 seconds.

A raving lunatic lies there, dazed and confused.

Warded off!

The door suddenly tips on end and flattens like a two-dimensional rendering. It begins spinning faster and faster, as though it were a madly rotating pinwheel. Abruptly, it collapses into a thin, fine line that folds in on itself in segments until it is scarcely more than a black pinhole. The dot of darkness disappears with a near-silent *POP*.

d100 == 1 FUMBLE!

I'm guessing this isn't a bug but a feature. But anyone know for sure?

Im not sure but you are using the INCANT verb which is basically the PREP and CAST verbs combined. With rapid fire the thing is you dont have to PREP. All you have to do is cast the spell constantly so I would suggest just using the CAST verb and it should work.

I'll test it out on my wizard later, if you can actually incant a spell without releasing and preping a new one, that's pretty nice.

as an aside,

I use cast & loot in a macro to make sure I don't waste mana casting at a dead creature.

I'll try incant tonight and see how it works for my wizard with rapid fire.

Incant is all freaky odd. When you incant when you're under the effects of bard lullaby, you get the 3 cast RT but no spell casts or is even prepped.

Anyone bother bugging it yet?
