Well.. it's kinda like having a kid... They are neat, but I don't know what I would do with it.

Seriously tho... I was talked into spending more then 350 on pictures and paintings for my house because "Bare walls are stupid". I think 350 for something I actually like is better then pictures I think are stupid.

than. Again. It's a simple concept. It's like you're not even trying.

Looks like Wrathbringer is upset that Someone who isn't me is a better troll than him.

Nuka World released today. It's... pretty big. The park has 5 separate areas, and each one is about the length of Automatron in terms of quests (I'm only close to finishing one, so the rest might be larger or smaller), plus the overarching plotline.

Fallout 4 and Skyrim aren’t getting mods on PS4 (update)
Bethesda Game Studios has given up on its fight to implement mods on the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4, the developer announced on its website. It’s not just Fallout 4 that is going mod-free on PS4, though; The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition will also ship without previously promised mod support on the console.

These decisions were made not by Bethesda, according to a post, but Sony.

"After months of discussion with Sony, we regret to say that while we have long been ready to offer mod support on PlayStation 4, Sony has informed us they will not approve user mods the way they should work: where users can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim Special Edition," wrote the company.

Bethesda previously announced that it would bring modding to both Xbox One and PS4 versions of these games, but while Xbox One players of Fallout 4 have been altering the wasteland at their leisure for months now, PS4 players have been made to wait impatiently. Just a few weeks ago, the company said that PS4 mods were still "under evaluation," implying that little movement had been made on getting mod support running on the console.

Yet Sony has consistently denied the modding update for Fallout 4, based on factors that Bethesda has not disclosed. Modding is huge for Fallout — and Elder Scrolls —players, with the community contributing vast numbers of useful and superfluous upgrades on a regular basis. PS4 players, it seems, will now be left out of the loop for good.

Pretty fucked up.

I'd have figured it would have been Microsoft against mods, not Sony. Kinda odd.

Sony lost a lot of the momentum they had going into this generation. Sometimes it seems like they're actively trying to hurt their sales.

Isn't their new upgraded system more expensive than the new XBox too? They are fucking up. XBox has passed them in sales now too.

The Ps4 Pro is more expensive than the Xbox and PS4 slims. The Scorpio doesn't have a price point yet, I don't think, but it's supposed to be faster than the PS4 Pro (at least on paper).

What are the hardware specs for scorpio?

Supposedly the gpu will be capable of 6 tflops and 'real' 4k, rather than upsampling like the Pro is supposed to do. It's all on paper though cause the Scorpio is at least a year off, and tflops aren't a super great way to measure power.

Oh, I thought the pro and the slim were the same shit.

Running native 4k is pretty taxing. I'm highly skeptical the scorpio will be able to do that and not just upscale to 4k.

I thought Microsoft has kind of changed their minds on Mods after buying Minecraft...

It's possible, but it depends on how many hoops developers are willing to jump through or compromise.

PS4 now WILL get mods, but only ones that use existing assets. That's a big distinction, as most in-depth PC mods use external assets (and the Xbox allows them).

Mods and 4K Coming to PlayStation 4 for Skyrim and Fallout 4

We’re excited to announce that mod support is coming to PlayStation 4 for both Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4. Additionally, we’ll also be supporting the new PlayStation 4 Pro with both titles.

Skyrim will have these features when it launches on October 28. The new power of the PlayStation 4 Pro has allowed us to make Skyrim render in native 4k, and it looks better than ever. Here are some screens to show you just how great it looks.

Mod support will come to Skyrim first. We and Sony have worked hard to make this possible. Mods on PlayStation 4 will allow you to modify and create your own content by using our Creation Kit available here. You will not be able to upload external assets with your PlayStation 4 mods, but you will be able to use any assets that come with the game, as most mods do. By creating a Bethesda.net account, you’ll be able to browse and try mods right from within the game.

We are excited finally to get modding to our PlayStation fans who have supported us for so long. Modding has been an important part of our games for over 10 years, and we hope to do even more in the coming year for all our players, regardless of platform.

After the work is complete on Skyrim, we’ll be updating Fallout 4 for both mods and PS4 Pro. We expect Fallout 4 to take advantage of the PS4 Pro in 4k along with enhanced lighting and graphics features.

Thanks again for all your support. We can’t wait to hear about your new adventures.

Wanted to give this another shot. Anyone have any mods that have been released in the last year or 2 that they would recommend?

Remembered when we spoke about fallout 3 coming out like 10 years ago. Fallout 4 is everything a 3d fallout needed to be and even more. Still, Bethesda is doing it wrong with deepness but hey, at least it's fallout.

For mods, I haven't tried any too, but I'm guessing the restauration ones must be cool, if you want a greenish fallout :/
