As I said before, the fans at the game didn't have instant replay to let them see what happened. They couldn't see what happened up close. All they saw was the ball fall to the ground. The only people in the stands who might have been able to see exactly what happened were the people in the ground seats along the first base line. The people in the nose-bleeds? On the second deck? In the outfield? All they saw was what they thought was a hit and an RBI get overruled and turn into an out.

I don't consider myself a bitter Sox fan, but I know many who are. The worst fans in the world are, without a doubt, Philly and NY fans. I've come to this realization through attending several games in both cities. I saw a guy get into a fistfight with another guy for cheering against Philly, and in the Bronx I saw the guy in front of me in the bleacher seats pour his beer over another guys head for rooting against the Yanks. These incidents are about on par for what I've seen in local bars, as well.

Remember man, it's just a game. You don't need to go around insulting the "supposed" education level of an entire city because you don't like their team. That just makes you look like even more of a slackjawed fuck yourself.
