I've no desire to sell this at all, but I am curious what people will think it's worth. It is 6x per day, reducing encumbrance by 40 lbs for 20-30 minutes. The loresong on this is very long and ends up more a show for people watching and hoping a bard dies when the press into it too much.

So you have a penis backpack on your hand.

There is so much awesome in that, I don't know where to start.

Hard to say. With the encumbrance reducing items for sale with Simucoins, there's a little less interest in items that provide it, but they remain popular none-the-less.

Worn in the glove spot? It works like the Adv Guild feather charms, except it recharges itself and lasts longer?

I believe a second pair with a slightly different description was sold at the same time, but I do not remember who bought the other. I will see if I can find the logs tonight. Was it the 1999 auction? 2005 FP auction?

Show them the ambient messaging. That will run up the price.

As promised, I found my logs. It was an auction at the 2009 Ebon Gate festival. I won't post how much the purchaser paid for it. The other gauntlet was an eahnor glove. I do not have a log of it being purchased. I believe there was more than one auction room, and I probably was not in the room when (if) the glove was purchased.

There were a lot of interesting items at that auction. The item auctioned immediately after the gauntlet was an ethereal string, which sold for 90 million. That was a lot for a GM run auction. And right after that somebody (you know who you are!) paid 60 million for a pygmy hedgehog.

Why the hell did someone pay 60mil for a pygmy hedgehog?

Oh, HAH. I found the auction. Guessing it was one of the first hedgehogs?

Between the low cost of encumbrance potions and the recent weight reduction items sold with Duskruin I'm hard pressed to make a judgment call on this one. I got alot of love for you Nordred and it is a fine item. But I totally prefer the potions from the simucoin store.

Respectfully,
Matt

I've wanted that thing since I loresang it years back.. one of the first entries in the loresong thread - http://forum.gsplayers.com/showthread.php?58655-Loresongs&p=1270981#post1270981

I've no idea who picked up the glove one been several people trying to track that down, golvern one was 40-45 mil which a friend let me use a ticket spot. I did figure it had lost good part of it's value cause of all that new stuff.

Yeah, the encumbrance potions are one of the cheapest things, and they last a long time. And the IG feather charms are great too in a pinch.

That being said, that thing is nifty because of it's history.
