Lich is great, and it works great when i am hunting and I do not have any other windows in focus

But when I am back to town and maybe lich isnt in focus (say I open a browser window to check the pc...), and lich crashes. It crashes so fast, I can't read the message (there is some kind of message there). This happens on two different computers, two different characters, both using lich.

Where do I start to determine what is going on?

I started a fairly lengthy discussion as witbier on lnet, so this may be a refresh to anyone who followed that discussion.

I am currently logged into Wizard without lich, and I have had no crash (where when I was logged into lich and checking browsers to test ping, and such, during the discusison, as experienced a bug group of logouts/crashs).

Been dealing with this for about a year, through different computer installs (I just did a fresh install of windows, lich, everything, havent changed much since then, and its been happening).

Thank you.

May have spoke to soon, just had an unexplained log out while connected with the Wizard through play.net independently of lich

And happened again independently of lich

So clearly lich isnt the main source of the problem.

I guess I might post about this at play.net. Thanks all.

Yeah sometimes my game windows just completely freezes up and I have to close them via task manager. I don't get any errors though so not sure what's going on in your case. Did you get an error even when lich wasn't running?

I do not have to close the game window by task manager. The game window either

1)closes by itself, or
2) seems to be fine until I click on the windows taskbar to unfocus the non-game window and bring the game window back to the top of my open windows, at which point the game window closes. There is some lich messaging there, but I cant read it as the game window closes. I suspect that information is reporting that connection with simutronics server is lost (because again note that I was able to reproduce this issue independent of lich)

Replaced my D-link DIR-632 router with a different brand/model. Its been a few days and I haven't been able to reproduce the issue, so its looking like it was a hardware problem.
