Not entirely sure what you mean, X..but like Adredrin said--I don't play prime.
Am I the only one who remembers a time when the term "Weedmage" was a common slang term for ranger???
I'm not the only Weedmage in existence, there are probably many...atleast at one time, there were.

LOL That person does sound a bit like me, doesn't it?
But nah, that's not me. I didn't make it onto MPoD's twit list. Trying to remember what ranger did...maybe Kaelani (sp?) was she a ranger? I think she was Dwaar (or Dwwar)'s wife?

For a long time as Keisa, I preferred Weedmage over spikesorc. So no you are not the only one that remembers the term.
Syrend is over 80 and still hunts weedmage style, so they still exist.

I'm sure many of you enjoyed the Troglodyte invasion outside Icemule on Monday, however many of us had a problem with it. It seems around 9am, a large group of these strap wielding creatures swarmed the main gate. The inclusion of the hard leather straps (as weapons) made this invasion a "Whipping Mob." And that's where I had the problem. I am not what you would normally call a politically correct individual. I was born in Missouri, raised in the North, and am currently living in the South. Having seen nearly fifty summers, I've a fair idea of what's acceptable, and what's unacceptable behavior. Growing up, one of my heroes was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King preached a gospel of truth, justice, and equality for all men. He left a legacy of hope that spoke to all as few men have before or since. And I honor his memory on his Day, every year. Then this damned invasion had to happen. By allowing GemStone III players to obtain whips and flog each other, and on Martin Luther King Day at that, Simutronics clearly exhibited a callousness towards it's customers that surpassed even it's own normally high arrogance level. As I said in my post on their official board (which was later deleted), "(I) found it more than a little disturbing." Maybe Simutronics was merely practicing a little "Madonna"-style marketing. You know, do something outrageous to get people talking about you. Some publicity, even bad publicity, is better than NO publicity. In GemStone, as in business, timing is everything. Mess up your timing in combat, and somebody gets hurt. Mess up your timing in business, and you could end up losing business. Simutronics would do well to heed this.
