yay for the terminator backing a 3 billion dollar bond to fund embryonic stem-cell research. By providing the investment California research teams will be on the cutting edge of the biotech field and will again provide an economic boom that will provide some serious cash for the good ol US of A.
React and respond.
I thought Gov't funded embryonic stem cell research was against the law unless the cells were already harvested before the law?
So far embryonic stem cell research has helped nothing but adult stem cells research has done wonders. I know Howard Hughes medical companies are at the forefront of stem cell research. Old Howard would probably role over in his grave if he knew what his tax shelters were doing

They just order in from outside the US.
If there were any more west coast biotech companies, I'll puke. They need to open before 10 o'clock eastern, that's all I'm saying.
Oh, and also, embryonic stem cell research is the key to unlocking many diseases.

I edited the above to make it correct.
You are welcome.
You need to stop listening to John Edwards telling people that 'embryonic stem cells will allow people like Christopher Reeves to get out of their wheelchairs and walk again.' the day after he died.

So far adult stem research has far surpassed embryonic in helping many diseases. Embryonic so far has helped nothing and remember Canada and Europe are all doing embryonic stem cell research.
Even if they bring the stem cells in from outside the USA isn't issuing a Gov't bond to fund this research a violation of the law? because federal funds are being used.

Please explain any hesitation to explore embryonic stem-cell potential?
Outside of it possibly being a huge waste of money if it ends up doing shat, I don't see a problem.
Also, please refrain from the "we're kill babies!" argument. because unless you find thousands of willing uteri to carry the thousands of frozen embryos, I will ignore that argument.
