Candor was in the Landing last weekend and decided to life some pockets (it has been ages), but didn't announce what he was doing.

Wow...you people really haven't learned to close your containers. Thirty minutes of stealing and I made more than I usually do in a typical two hour OTF hunt. In fact, most of the marks seemed pretty clueless. Is the whole town just full of scripters except for a few people on the amulet?

Well thanks for the gems, silvers, and jewelry items...suckers :)

So edgy.

<<nobody cares>>
<<no one gives a fuck>>

I care - that's all that matters.

<<thief>>

What's your point?

<<I want my diamond back from six years ago, thief>>

Feel free to try and get it. Good luck.

If this is how you make a living and you used your talents to steal from people who don't close their containers, then more power to you. Everyone and everything in Elanthia serves a purpose for the greater good. A thief is there to remind us to....

CLOSE YOUR FREAKING CONTAINERS!

---This is your daily helpful reminder. Thank you and good bye.---

CLOSE YOUR FREAKING CONTAINERS!

It's a circular argument, really.

"Well I wouldn't need to close my containers if people didn't steal"
"People steal because your container is open in the first place"

Etc, etc.

Those are just pixel diamonds. My rogue would steal them, and my bard would purify them and hand them out like candy, after having them chrismed. No one gave a fuck except newbies. Players with any kind of resources, have thief sacks filled with traps and cursed gems,. which they leave open for the giggles, or so many fucking gems that they don't give a rat's ass. It's all allowed within the game rules and mechanics.

All of this tells me you exclusively target newbies and the afk, and avoid anyone of consequence. We're all so proud of you.

As someone that has had items stolen by Candor and the RP we engaged in as a result of it, I do not see any issue with it. He was a good sport about it. I do think it was crap the constable stepped in just because some rogues used guild skills on him in the tower when he thought it would be fun to steal in there but that is a whole different issue.

As someone who has on multiple occasions caught and slaughtered the shit out of Candor, he is just annoying and the RP was derptastic at best.

There's a big, bold line between RPing an interesting individual who steals and a guy who steals while pretending to be interesting.

All I ever got off him is that he was "RPing" as an annoying little turd.
