I'm not a boxing fan but this made me wince: http://www.king5.com/story/news/local/2015/05/02/comcast-confirms-widespread-outage/26808593/

Until I saw that the outage shouldn't affect viewers ability to watch the fight. Lucky for Comcast.

He's saving that for when he celebrates with hookers later on tonight.

Yeah, it's a mayweather fight. Pretty typical.

I finally win a bet with hoy! Whoo hoo!

Honestly, Im surprised how much of a lack of a game plan Manny had going in.

I would be interested to hear what their plan actually was, since its obvious that he didnt execute it at all.

Floyd doesn't want to fight. He wants to dance and grab.

Sounds like just about every fight he's ever had.

Edit: although, to be fair, he has won more fights by knockout than decision...he's getting old now, though. He used to dance and punch, now he dances and grabs.

That fight was boring as shit.

I didn't even bother watching it. I didn't get the restaurant closed down 'till about 12:30am anyway, but I still could have made it to somewhere showing it. I went to my usual dive bar instead and just watched the ticker at the bottom of ESPN.

I won 400 dollars betting that it would end with both standing and Wayweather would win by decision. Woot. Im buying some expensive shoes.

seriously? 300 million purse..60/40 winner/loser. If mayweather is a woman hitter, I would have stepped in the ring and let him hit me for 110ish million.

Yep, that's pretty much every Mayweather fight. Bullshit rules, always in Vegas, boring fights. Pacquiao claims he had a training injury and wasn't allowed to even take an an anti inflamatory for the fight.

Didn't watch the fight, didn't want to give $60 to the punk.

It was $90 on ATT Uverse... If you order it in SD.. $100 for HD.

How many people still have SD TVs that order PPV events on them?

It's a generational thing. 30 years ago, the dictionary and professional linguists said it wasn't a word. Dictionaries are always revising history, a language isn't a static thing. Eventually every semi-coherent grunting noise will make it into a dictionary.

It's the lowering of the bar, so to speak. They've just conceded to the morons of the world who insist upon using it as a word rather than standing firm and telling them, "No, you're stupid."

True. But most of these new words don't contradict themselves... you know, the whole 'double negative' thing. Hell, let's just add 'ir' to any ole word because it's irfun!

Yall go tell that to the dude who first wrote it in the 1790s or the dictionary that acknowledged it in the 1910s. Just because you hate it, ain't mean it ain't no word. And in all honesty, even it something ain't "correct" it still ain't makin' it not a word.
