Welp, it's that time of the year...fantasy BBALL. Post up your teams if you're playing.

League type: Roto
Positions: C/F/G
Teams: 10

I had last pick.

1) Lebron
2) Big Ben (possibly a bit high but RB's are hard to come by in this league)
3) KMart
4) Redd
5) Dampier
6) Terry
7) SAR (took a gamble)
8) QRich
9) J. Rose
10) Divac (another gamble)
11) D. Stoud.
12) McDeiss
13) Lenard
14) Turkoglu
15) Prince
16) Mason
17) Murray (haha)

My draft is next Tuesday, I'll post my team then, but we play h2h points based.

I like Terry in the 6th, and I like SAR in the 7th too. I think he's vastly undervauled going into the draft. Porland is going to have to learn to play him and Randolph together.

I like the team, but I'm not a Redd fan, or a Dampier fan. (Just personal preference). You might find yourself in need of assists too. Also, if that's Desmond Mason you got in the 16th, that's a real steal. He's due to have a real breakout year.

Nobody wanted to touch SAR because of the uncertainty of how many minutes he'll get. I think it'll work out for me.

Redd had a great year last year. He averaged 22 PPG and 5 RPG, as well as tossing in a good 130 tres.

Dampier is way underated as far as fantasy value goes. He averaged a double double last year, with 12 and 12. Those are Big Ben numbers. I picked him up 13th last year, but his fantasy value went up exponentially after his season last year. Other than Shaq, Yao (who I had and hated last year), and Miller, there aren't many centers worth picking due to Sportlines stupid player position assignments.

And yes, I got a steal on Mason. Kidd didn't go till the 6th either, because of his questionable status.

Is that Lamond or Tracey?

Did the McDyess pick come with a free knee brace?

Michael Redd is a good pick, there's no reason he shouldn't be average 20+ points for a bad team.

Jalen Rose is a punk.

I like Prince, but he's more of an intangibles type player who won't throw up big numbers.

The Wallace pick is interesting. How is your point system? I think with Yahoo! you get 2.0 per rebound/block as opposed to 1.0 for each point scored, but some places do it just straight up 1:1.

Hah, neither! It's Ron Murray. He sucks, but so do all 17th picks. He'll never see active time on my roster.

As a Knicks fan, nobody could be more upset with McDyess. I figure he's on a new squad of already beat up people, maybe he'll shine. He's been doing well preseason at least. Rose IS a punk, but when he's good he's good.

The Wallace pick I'm still unsure of. We do a roto based system, 8 cats- TRB, STL, AST, PTS, FT, BLK, 3PT, FG, all evenly weighted. Rebounds and blocks are hard to come by, and Wallace gives you 12 and 3. 3 blocks per game is great. Time will tell if I made a stupid pick or not.

Oh shit, I forgot about that. I haven't really watched the NBA (didn't even watch the playoffs last year) since the Spurs won in 2003. That's the guy that temporarily replaced Ray Allen, isn't he? Wasn't he averaging like 20 for the first couple weeks of last season?

Yeah, that's him. He had a great start to the season.

PG - Jameer Nelson
SG - Delonte West

I stopped drafting there because I sealed the campionship.

Aren't both of those guys real (baseball) ballplayers?

Yeah, Crisp and Bradley are.

Nelson and West were St Joes backcourt last year. Was a great season, I miss it.

That's an interesting team you have there, Blazing. Wonder how you'll fare with that team..

I'm only in one league and the draft hasn't happened yet, so I'm playing the waiting game. : /

I pulled the #3 in our roto draft. I'm betting the first to go is Garnett, then LeBron, and I'm hoping to snag Duncan.

EDIT: To clarify pick #2, the guy basically has a hard-on for LeBron.

AUTO DRAFT

Lebron at #2? Ouch. I'd say fifth, at the EARLIEST. With number 3, I'd go for either Duncan or Shaq. Other than that, Dirk. Are you roto flat, or percentage based? (i.e. overall free throws, or free throw percentage?) That makes a big difference in who you pick. I'd highly favor Shaq unless you have percentages, in which case I'd highly not favor Shaq.

AUTO DRAFT? Might I ask...why?

Don't know to be honest...that's how the dude set it up. But if my team sucks (which with my luck, it probably will) I'll come to you for some advice with trying to fix it up some with trades and all.
