Hey,
So I have started thinking about buying more enhancives. It seems to me that the best ones to get would be:
1) Weapon skill bonus
2) Strength bonus
3) Combat man. bonus
I was wondering if anyone has any other opinions though on what to get? I guess dodge could be useful and logic when leveling.

Pretty much every single physical stat. MO for extra strikes. Armor for spellcasting during the endgame. Inf for warcry success/learning. Disc for berserk learning if you've gimped it.

Dex and Agi for your rt, also helps some with maneuver defense and dodge DS. I figure if I ever max out STR, combat maneuvers, and get my agidex bonus where I want it I'd start on WIS/AUR for TD.

The ones Jeril mentioned (plus weapon bonus) are the only ones I've ever shopped for, CON is also nice for the phantom padding, health and stamina (giftbox).
Others that may be good are max health/health recovery (especially wee peoples), max stamina/stamina recovery (especially GoS), and max spirit/spirit recovery (dark evil peoples).

Max health recovery paired with a troll heart seems like it would be fun, especially for a dwarf paladin in sunfist.

If you're dying from blood loss outside of the rare occasion, you're doing it wrong, (except for small races). Stick with strength, weapon, CM, maybe MOC and a few other things if you specialize in something particular. One thing that's nice is to get all your strength bonus maxed from items so you don't have to train in surge. That lets you spend those points elsewhere, and no cool down.

So is the max 40 stat/20 bonus, even with surge? So you can't have 20 bonus of strength items then run Surge for more? Always though surge stacked because it was an ability.

Correct.
Surge stacks to the limit. Only item I know that doesn't is the Belt of Kai (predating both systems). Thus, I want.

anything that actually changes your INFO are subject to the same 40 stat/20 bonus cap. so doesn't affect warriors really but that includes things like assume aspect for rangers, perfect self for monks, surge, burst of swiftness, etc.

The berserking never stops.

I think the old strength gauntlet isn't subject to the enhancive cap.

Woops yea I meant that one, giantkin gauntlet.
Mixed them up, Belt of Kai was the encumbrance reducer.

You should just ghostwrite a warrior guide that I can publish under my GuidesbyWhirlin series

Don't forget the steroids. Every good warrior does them.

Is the gauntlet still around?

Stamina recovery.
I'm pretty sure there's a cap on stamina recovery, though I'll admit I can't prove it and don't know what it is! So there's a limit to the value of stamina recovery, particularly post cap. Pre-cap, I would say go for it.

The claim by a mathier warrior player is it caps out at like 50. Still cool.
