View Full Version : Warclaidhm being a dumbass

LordWarclaidhm

Look, the reason I KEEP coming back, even though I get constantly harassed, is because I do want to change, but I DO NOT want to re roll Warclaidhm. I've already made another character.

People keep saying warclaidhm is an idiot/dumbass, etc. But honestly, I DONT see how he is. I see him as a nice person.

I'd like some honest answers here. I don't care how blunt it has to be, as long as its true.

Warclaidhm really is nice. But EVERYONE, even my friends, say he is acting like a dumbass, and I just don't see how he is.

thanks.

REROLL AND DON'T FUCKING TELL EVERYONE WHO YOU ARE.

OR, take 20m and buy a level 65 warrior AND DON'T FUCKING TELL EVERYONE WHO YOU ARE.

Warclaidhm, you proclaim to enjoy math, vector calc. even.....

You're intelligent. And yet you do things like buy a GREATAXE, and try to sell it because you thought it was a two-handed sword. Mistaking a sparrow for a dragon, c'mon....

I'd continue but it's late and I might not pull punches.

Go read the log of you killing Chiv's sparrow companion.

In that log, you were being a dumbass. I'm sure rangers across the land would have wanted to kill you had they witnessed that.

Stunseed, you've heard about the whole booksmarts/streetsmarts thing, right?

I think that's his problem. Either that or he was just born with a section of his brain missing. That is the only reason I could think he would actually be good at math, and yet suck so bad at social skills.

People HAVE been honest, you just don't believe them. Just because you don't like what they have to say doesn't mean they're lying, or wrong.

To be honest (again) that's one of your faults, and consequently Warclaidhm's, since it most often concerns him. Your inability to take constructive criticism, or to recognize negative behavior patterns in yourself or around you even when pointed out in the gentlest manner.

I think, honestly, that it's not people are thinking Warclaidhm the character is an idiot, but that it is YOU, the player, who frequents the shallow end of life.

I don't understand why you care what people think.

This guy is not intelligent. Please, stop insulting the smart people.

He doesn't have book smarts, street smarts, dog smarts, rat smarts, nor shit smarts. He also lacks the common sense god gave road kill. That he is able to breath would be astonishing if not for evidence that he can type.

In all honesty however, I'm not sure who the bigger slack jaw is ... him for posting or us for responding.

I think I'll cut my losses and just ignore the scooter reject.

Wow, you seriously are an attention whore...asking people to point out to you how stupid you really are...even though they've bluntly been pointing it out to you in all of the other threads. Wow.

<<He doesn't have book smarts, street smarts, dog smarts, rat smarts, nor shit smarts. He also lacks the common sense god gave road kill.>>

But he does have vector calculus.

You don't care how blunt it has to be? How much more blunt can you GET than the shit people say over and over in each and every thread about you?

Maybe if you didn't pull shit like the companion killing, if you would lay low, stay off PsiNet to avoid irritating people, people might think you were *starting* to change. But you can't undo the things you've done simply by saying "I want to change."

Read the quote thread. There's a lot of examples there.

What I don't understand is why everyone responds to the threads to begin with. If you ignore it, he won't have anyone to respond to.

Personally I would use that route. I think he's had enough people making fun.

Warclaidhm, I have had exactly ONE interaction with your PC, and that was enough to prove to me that you ask for everything that you get on these boards, and in game.

For the record, during that interaction, you butted into a converstion between me and a freind of mine. Then attacked another freind of mine, for no other reason than that she said something you found offensive. When I asked, politely I might add, that you refrain from attacking her, I got "Tackling isn't really attacking someone". Wich I might add is proof that you are an idiot. Then, you got involved in a dispute between Michaelous and someone he had stolen from. That you had nothing what-so-ever to do with. Yet you decided to defend Michaelous. All of this in the space of 5 minutes.

Just too make it perfectly clear, after that ONE interaction, my opinion of you is that you deserve every bit of the crap that you claim is so unfair. It's not everyone picking on you. It's you pulling stupid shit, and proving that you are an ass that gets you the reputation you have.

Buy my warrior. Don't tell anybody. You gain lvls, you get better training, and only a few people would know and guess what for the sake of you going away we won't tell.

Okay.. I'm not a big advocate for sticking my neck out for people, because I don't play GS that much anymore and my character doesn't play the "click game"..

That being said.. I have known Warclaidhm for awhile now in game and he's always been nice to me. There have been a few times that he bugged me consistantly for spells... so I spelled him up and said "Be safe" and he went on his merry way.

You all might know him better than I do, or perhaps you've had more interraction with him, but I think those who knock other people because they can really need to grow up.

No one deserves the verbal abuse that I have read here today. If you don't like him, yooohooo.. Ignore Him! If he doesn't leave when asked to, be the better person and just leave the room/spot, whatever. Sure, it might inconvenience you for a moment, but let's think of it this way. If you see a bum on the street and he's pestering you for change after you have repeatidly told him you have no change, would you just stand there and continue to put up with him or would you go out of your way to get away from him?

Did you see what happened to Psykos? Keep it up and you'll be next on my list.

Why don't you just shut up, lay low, and pretend you don't exist, like the rest of us would love to pretend you do.

You might have a valid argument if you weren't the oh, 5th one to use the same argument.

Every other one has come back "OH I'M SORRY FOR NOT BELIEVING YOU GUYS".

Any other time, you may have a point. In this case, your niceties are wasted.

<In this case, your niceties are wasted.>

Sorry Tayre, I don't see it that way... Even if he were to come to me in game and totally pester me, etc.. I wouldn't do or say the same things that people have to him these past few days.

I wouldn't expect you to understand my side of it, since it appears you are only seeing the negative side of the situation.

Lastly.. the way I see it.. is that I am not wasting my time if I believe it true. :)

Right, so you excuse and put up with snertdom.

Aiding and abetting is almost as bad as committing the atrocity yourself.

this post is just another attempt to annoy people

But if you pay me off I'll sing your praises.

I have a child (and not JUST a child... a teenager)and I'm use to putting up with snertdom.. Of course, there are disciplinary steps I take with my own child. However.. this is a game, he is a young minded person, acting out in text...

In NO WAY am I saying his actions are excuseable.. I am saying, there is no need to berate and belittle him in the awful ways he has been berated the past few days.

And yes, I am a sucker for a abandoned kitty.. (point being, for those that are a little slow).. I feel bad for him (and no, that does not mean I'd put him in a cardboard box and let him live in my pantry)

It's what he wants. He's like a crack fiend. Pretty soon he's going to be offering us cyber blowjobs for his crack.

He doesn't bother me. Maybe that's because I just leave him alone. Either way, I've never had him do anything to me so it's hard to be hostile.

Fine, Warclaidhm you will not take the good advice here and just delete your character and start over. If you keep Warclaidhm then you WILL have to live with the consequences. Warclaidhm's reputation is BEYOND repair. Nothing you can do at this point to fix it. You KEEP saying you're changing, yet people keep posting logs of you not changing. In fact, it looks like you're getting worse!!!!

Why do you keep making threads? Why do you give people ammunition they need to attack you? I am now inclined to believe you actually WERE born with part of your brain missing. There is no other explaination for this!

People have given you good advice here but you refuse to listen. Why keep asking for help if you won't accept the help? It's like talking to a brick wall. Actually, I think a brick wall has better listening skills. :banghead:

Seriously, train man...

Do train, as LAtrin told you too.

That man, will help you 100 times.

Even if you're ugly, a lot of girls are attracted to muscles, fat is so much of a turn off.

Train man, train train trian, it's easy. Run 20 minutes, 20 minutes of hard train and it's over.

Every day, you'll be good.

And as for your character, keep it and GET ANOTHER ONE!:smug:

Guys, guys, calm down.

He asked for constructive criticism, not a load of flames. Giving blanket statements isn't going to be very helpful, much like saying someone's RP needs improvement, but not saying where.

If you do want to help, please post stuff that's more specific along the lines of, "Alright, you did this, this and this, but what I'd recommend is doing this, this and this."

That's much easier to go on than saying someone's an idiot.

Please do a search for Warclaidhm on these boards and sift through all the logs, conversations and threads started because of this person. I don't think people want to rehash and reexplain things for the 1000th time.

Warclaidhm's player: If you truly want to get better, you need to work on yourself first. You seem like a decent kid, just a bit misguided and naive on things. Take a break from these boards and the game and find your place in this world first and foremost. If necessary, email or IM someone you know and trust to get help. But you do NEED help right now, and playing GS or posting here is not going to get you the help you need. I don't know how you got your parents to let you play again but you need let it go for a while. It's for your own good.

Anyone who defends Idiothm, I challenge you to spend a week in his company in game. If, after a week of his company you continue to defend him, I'll buy into your sincerity.

If you haven't done that, you are just defending him because he's the "underdog" or whatever you what to call it. I felt the same way about him, til he went rabid dog on me. Like old Yeller, you have to put down a rabid dog.

The people bagging on Idiothm have had experiences with him. Those who are defending him, have not. Experience his idiocy first hand for a bit, and get a taste of reality.

I have never really had much experience with Warclaidhm in game so I can't say that anything about your roleplay or what not, but reading your posts here I can see just exactly how and why people call you a dumbass. There is a reason your hated, once you realize that maybe you can fix it, but I highly doubt it. Embrace your stupidity and move on.
