So, my friend I went to visit this weekend has 2 ferrets, and a dog. And he gave me the ferrets, since the dog tries to eat them.

Man, they are cute. :)

A roommate of mine had a ferret, he let it run around in the living room.

He bathed it twice a week, and our living room still stunk of feret.

Get them destinkified.

Ferret stink is the poo, not the ferret itself. And these ones are descented and fixed.

Actually, the more you bathe them, the more they tend to smell. Our male ferret doesn't smell, really, just a musky scent that you get from dogs. I kiss and hug him all the time. He's the cutest thing and I adore him. Once we move to a house we're going to get another one.

Show us the pics!

I wish someone would have informed my roommate that the thing would stink more if he bathed it. I didn't mind the feret, hated the roommate, and hated the smell though.

Ferrets are adorable, I had 2 before I got pregnant. I had to find a new home for them though, We were afraid the baby might stick her fingers in the cage, even though they were really gentle, they might bite playfully and hurt her.

We let them run around, they used the cats litter box in the bathroom, ate with the cat, slept with the cat. We had to give the cat away too :(

Bathe, bathe, and bathe them. I had a destinkified female for 3 years that I finally had to give up because I didn't bathe enough and she smelled terrible and I was remaining a virgin, like Nakiro.

It was bad news.

Stop bathing them so much! They don't get better, only worse.

After seeing my dog bark for 2 hours at a pet rabbit in the yard behind my house - I now want a rabbit.

130lb Newfoundland Dog + Bunny = Lots of fun, I'm sure.

On topic - I saw some ferrets at a Pet Store not far from here. But I didn't like the place after I stopped by the fish tank. There was a tank that was about the size of 2 monitors - with hundreds of goldfish in it - with dozens of them lining the top of the tank. Belly up.

Feh, they're just toughening them up!

These guys are cuddly. Even their first night, they were quiet and very well behaved. A feat, considering they were in the car for 7 hours and were cooped up.

It feels really good to have something to come home to, something that appreciates it! I didn't realize how much I missed that!
