Specifically, what I am looking for is a waist worn item with a noun on the approved list for items that can have locks added. That list is as follows:

backpack, bankbook, basket, book, box, case, casket, chest, coffer, handbag, haversack, hip-basket, hip-satchel, kit, knapsack, manifest, pack, prayerbook, purse, register, reliquary, reticule, rucksack, satchel, songbook, sporran, strongbox, tome, toolkit, trunk, tube, saddlebag, pocketbook, tome, and folio

Pocket doesn't have to be any particular size, I just want to add a lock to it and then alter it.

Good luck. The approved noun list for locks and clasps is really annoying.

EDIT: Also, keep in mind that some containers may not be lockable/claspable despite being on that list so be sure to have someone check it. Would be glad to help on that end as well.

thanks for the offer. I doubt I'll find much, if anything, that fits.. but I figured it was worth looking.

You should see if there are any cross references with the warrior container list. I believe there are a few things that warriors can make that are belt worn but not belts.

I found a sheath on playershops that was belt worn, but that's not an approved one.. but good idea.

It wasn't a bad idea. However, when checking to see if a warrior sheath can accept a clasp or lock:

>lm clasp check my quiver
There's something special about that, you'd better not mess with it.

You may find that lock mastery won't suit your needs but i have found some containers not compatible would still work with a skull ring.

Hrm. Interesting, Rolfard. I'm not a fan of the skull ring thing, but can it be used on boots?

Skull ring is awesome. I like to put on a little Sisters of Mercy and just open and close my containers with it over and over.
