Pretty much like playing The Walking Dead show.. it's an MMO that you can build forts and have wars with other people.. kill zombies, salvage for items needed to survive, etc... It's still in Alpha, but it's extremely playable.

They also have this game called Battle Royale where you start off with 140 people parachuting down into the game and you try to be the sole survivor... pretty fucking fun.

Saying it's The Walking Dead MMO is NOT a +.

All people will expect is to party with a group of 20, run into an absolutely perfect defensible position, and one random jackass 'forgets' to lock the backdoor. Then you get invaded, lose 3 people, and run to the next absolutely perfect defensible position for round 2 of who-forgot-to-lock-the-door!

I've been slacking with keeping that thread updated. The game is pretty sweet now. Still the occasional hacker and the world looks crappy with the 5005129038109321 bases around now. But the lower pop servers are still clean looking. I'd recommend checking it out for the whole 20 bucks before it goes free to play craptastic adventure.

I think I've been playing about a month now.. and I'm loving it. I love Battle Royales, but without a 2 or 3 man team, you're severely outmatched at the end. Getting to know most of the vehicle spawns, which makes top 10 pretty easy to make.

Yeah battle royale can be a huge bitch solo. And then rendering can kinda screw you over when you render before the bush does leaving you as an outline haha. You are more than welcome to add me on steam and I'll play with you. I got a couple buddies that we try to group and play together on the same server. Spent like 40 minutes farming these guys last night as they kept coming back for their loot bags. Ended up having to run away, hide in a bathroom and log out because they called backup and ended up with like 10 people.

We've been playing regular lately on the Festering server. We got our base raided that we had over by the dam.. they stole almost everything. Bastards built a base and a 2nd floor stair next to our base and then just jumped over and blew up our doors with IEDs. Then they must have spent forever carting all our shit away.

I gave this a try and kept getting blasted whenever I attempted any foraging or looting. I can't exactly say I care to give it another try.

If they put in a system that pitted forts against others for some form of supplies or bonuses, that'd alleviate the insanity of being gunned down for nothing.

Fort vs. Fort for supplies is already in place. You raid other forts to get into their storage. It doesn't alleviate being gunned down.. it makes it easier to blow up the fort if there is no one there to defend it.

More than likely they didn't use very many IEDs. They might have used one and dropped like 20 biofuel on top of it. Whenever we raid we just kill like 100 animals build a fire outside the door and just keep making fuel since animal fat is alot easier to carry.
