I have been gone many years and although I almost remember how to acquire deeds in Landing it has pretty much left my mind. I remember ringing a bell or something and a tapestry but don't remember all the specifics. I tried the GSWIKI but it does not go into detail about how to actually acquire a deed, it just provides the formula. Could someone out there shed some light for me? I just hit 10, and have a feeling I am going to feel the creature stomp more often these days.

I you're over 50 trains, you can use magic items in the shack at Hearthstone. Wands, broken magical picks, scrolls (I think) should all work.

Yea...I missed the whole 10 trains thing....but it's still good to put out there.

If I remember correctly the cost of a deed with lowish numbers:
(Level * 100) + (Deeds_You_Already_Have * 100) + 101

Dropping gems counts triple towards this amount.

So if you're level 4, have 2 deeds, to get a third you could drop either 701 coins, or a 200 value gem and 101 coins.

As those numbers start to get higher the formula starts to fall apart and you need to throw down more (something like when the total would be over 5k or there about).

It's a drawer or something isn't it there at Hearthstone?

And gems are something like 3x their retail value at the gemshop when going for deeds. The script ;deeds_landing can run you through it real quick too. There's another called ;tendeeds or ;10deeds that runs and grabs gems and brings you up to speed as well.

You have to go in to the shed, close the door, pull the rope and open the drawer. Put your items in the drawer and pull the rope. Between deeds you have to open and close the door and then rinse and repeat.

There have been known examples where this equation doesn't ALWAYS seem to work. This may be because of end user error due to racial/citizenship bonuses in langing Gemshop, or a random fumble-esque roll when purchasing deeds. Anecdotal, but I remember running ;5deeds and not getting a deed on the 3rd round...

If using gems, just air on the side of caution with the values, even if you're cautious, it's still cheaper than selling and dropping coins.

The scent of marinara and olive oil fills your nostrils, then fades as quickly as it came.
