Ranged from hiding

using 608 for hiding, will i incur the +1 RT for shooting from hiding? I am trying it out, and although I dont stay hidden, I don't see the additional RT.

If I was to stay hidden, would I see the +1 RT? Also, is 2x hiding pretty much required for staying hidden?

The +1 is added regardless of being pulled from hiding. You may just have enough str bonus to negate the hidden shot RT.

Always have Strength and Phoen's Strength on.

I am thinking the +1 only applies when you stay in hiding.

What bow are you using? Also 2x hiding isnt required...but your success lowers drastically under 2x vs anything like leveled or high in perception(animals, undead, grimswarm,bandits,etc)
Its recommended to get atleast 2x with 3x if possible to help vs those listed previously.

Just using a standard 4x composite bow.

If you're struggling with RT from hiding but you're using Phoen's, you might also want to look into Wizard Strength. Having those two stacked guarantees no additional RT from hiding.

Effective 30 STR for -3 RT on bows.

Using a composite bow, base RT of 6, minimum of 3, you should be experiencing +1 RT from EACH aiming and firing from hiding.

From hiding, you should be having a 5 RT. 4 RT if you're not aiming. Confirm whether or not your aiming~

Confirmed but only when I stay hidden. Had to fixskill for hiding to stay hidden!
