Actually, it's anywhere from 6-7 lbs. After a few 7's I got a 6. Make it 4 6's in a row. Who knows

Good sets of lbp are hard to find, too. I wanted some when I was still playing, but was never able to find anything that great. It's an underrated armor class.

Yeah its a good set. I have 27 ranks of armor use and I have 4% hindrance with it, which doesn't bother me at all. Every now and then I get hit with it. So don't be scared casters.

I ran 4x VHCP LBP on my pure-casting mage up to and post cap and never felt the hinderance wasn't worth the protection. This armor is awesome.

I looked into LBP several times for a mutant sorcerer and couldn't quite settle on it. On the one hand, the crit divisor for chest/abs/back is nice, but compared to doubles:

The DFs/AvDs aren't really any better (and sometimes worse) than wearing doubles
3% more hindrance
One more action penalty, whatever the hell that means, but maybe I'll have a wee bit more trouble dodging maneuvers

The latter two points leave me feeling like I'd actually end up dead more often than with doubles. That said, I probably would have made an exception for insane scale like this, if I also had the coin.
